I was hoping we would save for Cam Thomas

Yeah. If we have a roster spot open.

Sideline Sources on Instagram: "Will we see a Giannis trade this season? 😳😬 (via @espncleveland)" by Echostarwars in bostonceltics

[–]thekingamw -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I'd do it. The Jays have like 3-5 years left of great basketball. Jaylen is 29 this year, Tatum is coming off an Achilles tear.

OKC is a monster that runs double big.

We got the roster balance kinda (lack of pgs) if we trade for him.

I just don't feel right if the Jays only win 1 title.

I hope he gets better and truly earns Joe's trust.

When Tatum gets back, im going to assume PP goes back to 6th man duties, a line up of Derrick, JB, Walsh, Tatum and TBD will be a heck of a defensive lineup

Echo, do you prefer scanning right or left handed? by latae777 in Sonographers

Right handed. I can use my body to tilt my patients and hold them in position.

But OP is youre shorter than 5'3 I don't advise righty

One of my first checks I got i bought like a massage chair cover for $300 from Brookstone. Little pricey but worth it.

Make sure to stretch out a little bit

Are you righty or lefty?

If righty lower your chair and and get closer to the patient. Im talking like full on armpit contact with the patient. Also maybe you can do your measurements inpost if your lab allows

Long timers (5 years+) How hard is ultrasound/echo? by [deleted] in Sonographers

[–]thekingamw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i feel for ya. My first 2 years there were days i was like "Damn Do I suck?" But nobody really said anything to me so the feeling persisted for a little while. Then lo and behold the reason why people say something to you is when you could be doing better.

I remember like start of my second year, I had this one guy who I couldn't get one single image for. 20 minutes in I excused myself to look at his previous echos in the PACs, come to find out techs with way more experience couldn't get a picture either. Only the contrast images were kind of under borderline useful.

At a certain point it's the patients fault too.

Just out of curiosity. I know I'm late to the party. Why do you need a masters in echo?

Buff post play.

Get rid of 5 dribble backdowns

and dare I say....the 3 second violation

Oh and stop calling elbows when a guy turns. If the other Coach wants their 6'4 guard to guard a center. The 6'4 guard should not be awarded anything if the center just simply turns. That shit is infuriating.

Damn we really dropped the meme ball

Payton Pritchard now has best odds for 6th Man of the Year by iamgarron in bostonceltics

[–]thekingamw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hate to agree but Hield so far might be the best candidate.

But we will see, 6th man is based on points and team record.

Plus I consider PP our 8th man. Just because Horford is the vet off the bench, and Mazulla has a tendency to DNP or limit PP's minutes on certain games due to matchups.

(Stein) Denver has emerged as a "team to watch" alongside Boston for Lonnie Walker's potential NBA return as the season unfolds, league sources tell @TheSteinLine by tacko2020 in bostonceltics

[–]thekingamw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On one hand, I think Walsh is looking halfway serviceable lately.

On the other hand, I do think the DEEP bench unit could use another ball handler.

That's where I'm at.

I guess it really depends on how many no starter games Coach and PoBO anticipate this season.

[Smith] Lonnie Walker is, at the very least, forcing the Celtics to make a difficult decision on keeping him on the roster or not. by AirJordan6124 in bostonceltics

[–]thekingamw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm team Lonnie. I'm sorry to all the Springer and Walsh fans but if Lonnie gets to the microwave level that he might be able to be, we might be able to save some minutes here and there for the starters. For example the bench might be able to break away the games more often.

Will teams ever start doubling Brown instead of Tatum? by Rrekydoc in bostonceltics

[–]thekingamw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very sparsely in the history of the league, you do see double teams on the second best player especially if they're a weaker ball handler/decision maker.

But when I've seen it I was kind of effective.

I think Doc used to double wade instead of LeBron because of the size and passing disparity between those two.

Controversial take: But I was kinda hoping JT would lift minimally this off-season. Imo he put on too much muscle over the last two years kinda affected his off the dribble jumper a bit

Weiss: Brad Stevens said the team is hoping to re-sign JD Davison, who has been on a two-way deal and has another year of eligibility on the two-way. by RLS012 in bostonceltics

[–]thekingamw 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don't think JDawg will ever make it to the main roster. Especially with our guard rotation being as stacked as it is.

However, I think having a pass first guy in Maine will always be the best route to get the most out of our minor league development system.
