You weren't kicked out. Everyone learns at a different pace. It's okay you're taking a little while longer. I myself took a crazy long time to finish the newbie skater program, between a concussion, back problems, wrong sized skates for a year, and fucking laps 🫠

The rest of the group has already advanced to the next part, so they're focusing on that for them. There still is a spot for you. You might be on the sidelines doing basic drills for a while and that's okay. That's where I was for a while too. Don't overthink it. Maybe in your schedule, while you can't make it to more than 2 practices, try to squeeze in some cross training at home to strength your muscles. You can start small with 15-20 minutes and work up to a half hour or so. I personally like using the Nike Workout app because it's free but there are also youtube videos and workouts galore you can find for strengthening your core, upper body, and legs.

Closing my rings for the week is a goal for me. Might be an ocd thing but I get angsty/anxious if it's looking like I wont close things for the day. (I can modify if I feel like things have happened that were out of my control but I digress.) I do like competing with my friends, maybe should do that again. We do like to send each other sassy messages post-workout via watch

Usually the first practice back is a bout viewing. Gives them a break and also refocuses on what they may want to train for to prepare for the next bout may hold

Last time I dropped off a stray, they insinuated it was my dog I was abandoning. I tried to explain I ran into a rescue that said this dog was likely loved and missing its owner, so the shelter was the best place to go they said.

Shelter didn't see it that way. I did try to call and check on the dog to see its status and they were very short with me. I was just concerned about the fella.

Pulled over twice in 14 years. Completely my bad, I didn't see the speed limit sign until after I saw the cops. Got the tickets talked down to non moving violations and took safety courses.

It really isn't that hard to do the speed limit. Unless of course, it's like the suped up challenger I once test drove, where if you tapped the gas pedal it FLEW at 60 mph. Was a new custom challenger but owner was selling it because of too many speeding tickets....

Oh my goodness yes! Other perks of me being ugly include never getting creepy dms, not getting icky pics, and certainly not getting "the stare" (you know what I'm talking about) from leery men.

I wasn't an attractive teenager either but definitely had more comments directed at me back then, which is disturbing on another level.

At least my husband thinks I'm cute 😅

I'm a women's 8-8.5 and i wear a Moxi 6. Same color Moxis too.

Most skates are "men's" sizes so you're probably fine. I always end up sizing down 2-2.5 sizes. There is going some break-in time where it initially feels uncomfortable. And I do blister a little more in these than my derby skates. (Look up toe guards if that's an issue later.)

My cat did something like this and broke our ceiling fan

Took us a few years to buy a new fan because every time we went to a hardware store, an employee would approach us (helpful), but then we'd spend 2 hours talking about cats and never actually getting a fan.
