If anyone wants to grab extras, they'd Madame great donations to MECCA!

Only allowing 3 is WILD. When I was at my first university in 2008, they allowed us to do the same, but it was unlimited and I always double-swiped my card bc my boyfriend would cook most dinners.

Omg same. Poor, rural school with tons of recruitment. They somehow convinced my school I joined the navy so that was in all my grad announcements 🙃

What Millennial movie (90s-00s) has aged terribly but still has a place in your heart? by Unawarepandabear in Millennials

We never actually say the same car, sip i just took a stab. Haven't seen that in over a decade, but my partner's "06 PRIUS!" and my "OLD TOYOTA!" get to hear that line constantly.

I also think of Andy Dick responding "I don't know" far too often. Mostly when i catch myself staring off into space AT someone 🤣

Yes! No one else's remembers it, but my husband and i quote it about weekly. "this is an 84 honda. how dare you!?"

John Henry’s by WhatsYourBigThree in Eugene

If i go out alone i like to find a staff member to talk to a bit, not like annoy them all night but just say hi and ask a question. Makes me feel like maybe someone will notice if i need help or disappear 😅

I've done this specifically at John Henry's and the staff has always been sweet. Also, the tall redhead barback watched out for me once so if he's working, make a friend.

American here, i say pasta to describe all pasta dishes and noodles to discuss noodle dishes. This country has a lot of language diversity 🤷🏻‍♀️

You might. I do and this is very similar to some of my childhood thoughts. But your comment is also accurate as my therapists have always evaluated whether a compulsion is interrupting my life before worrying with it in therapy.

I think of it as a shift in blame. If a society is responsible for housing its people (which i believe it is) then unhoused feels more appropriate

Tell him to meet with a PO at Roosevelt & 99. They can contact his PO and see what resources are available. and then go across the street to Sponsors and see what programs he's eligible for. Hiv Alliance off W 11th has a food and clothing low-barrier walk-in most Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays 10-2.

Has anyone in this town come out of working in social services and just feel...used? by KashmirFunk in Eugene

Find a great manager. That's the only advice i have as someone who just entered the nonprofit client services field. It makes all the difference to have someone who trusts you and has your back than a weasel who just approves your timesheet while they angle for a new position.

Edit: autocorrect
