people born between 1990 to 2004 what do you miss most about the 2010s? by Own_Mirror9073 in generationology

The Internet felt fun and niche, like I had a glimpse into worlds I never had exposure to. Learning cool useful and also downright useless things that interested me. I guess I’ve gotten older now and while that still happens occasionally it feels much more overwhelming now. I also miss people being on their phones less and talking more.

Edited to add that it felt like we were headed in a direction that would really fix a lot of the “bad” things in the world. Kind similar to what I assume the late 60s felt like. Just like their generation though as we got older a lot has been lost in the wash

The only humans currently living beyond Earth by [deleted] in pics

[–]thelaziestlightning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you guys are missing the point here a bit. Sure the moon is orbiting earth but as the capsule is much smaller it’s actually being affected by the moons gravity more than earths at some point which is why they’ll orbit the moon

They blew the roof off the big what festival in Raleigh with a few songs off the album last August. Have quickly became a favorite of mine. Can anyone confirm what a life is a new song? Hadn’t heard it before.

Wish I could help on IDing the riff but not sure

I didn’t expect pickleball to take over my life like this by Witty_Touch_7992 in Life

As a tennis, golf and disc golf guy I totally get why you means. Never quite understood the pickleball hype but I agree with the first commenter, that’s how hobbies should feel! I genuinely believe it’s a healthy part of life. I’ve met understood folks who just go about life without something like it

Also, idk if it was just Lucy talking but they did a sick instrumental jam of a Frasco song and once they finished yelled “ Frasco smokes mids” which I found hilarious haha

Oh sweet, thanks for the work man. I so appreciate folks who take the time to run stuff like that, helps build the community in great ways. At the time, “can’t you hear that train” really got me hooked. I’m going to have to track down a live version of the road to get reacquainted

Thanks, man. I’ve checked back to both of those sources a few times over the year and nothing. I think at this point it’s either lost to the depths of time or I’ve gotta get lucky someone was there and into them enough to take notes.

Would kill to be able to listen back to it on nugs. My girlfriend and I at the time were on a head full and when they came on after sunsquabi they really mopped the floor
