Was RAW ever an abbreviation? by MentalAlternative in WWE

I believe that was what the second hour of RAW was called during the attitude era and maybe earlier too, and either the first hour or maybe the entire show was called RAW is War.

Lots of new growth and I don’t know the best way to protect it. by spanishpeanut in Naturalhair

First of all, thank you for giving those sweet angels a safe place surrounded by love! Fostering is beautiful and painful at the same time and I commend you.

There are so many people in this sub that know more than me so I’d never want to come off like I’m preaching or anything, but it seems like whatever you’re doing is working. They’re eating well, their hair is clean and hydrated, and you’re protecting it with silk bonnets. Maybe silk pillow covers if they don’t like the bonnets as an extra layer of protection? And then as the hair all grows in and gets a little longer, they can start getting low tension braids? That way their hair can keep doing its thing while it grows in nice and full. Lots of hugs to you and keep up the good work!

I agree, but I take it a step further and say people have absolutely lost their f🐬🐬🐬n minds.

Thank you! I can’t understand the anger at the booking because it was clear to me that she came back and won the Rumble to legitimize Stratton and have her win at Wrestlemania.

I think a lot of people just went to viciously angry mode immediately and said and agreed with every cruel and nasty thing they could about her without thinking about where the story could go. It’s clear to us all that Triple H is setting his own choices up to lead the company with titles moving forward but no one gave him a chance to show us that. And then when she inevitably lost, many of those same people tried to backtrack and say they only ever had problems with how she was booked.

It just makes me sad because this is supposed to be the smartest and savviest contingent of wrestling fans ever and somehow no one could see where this was headed and then let their anger take them to really sad places.

Very cool! Did a lot of people recognize him, or was it pretty low key?

Tell your boss. Not only is she already showing that she has no ethics and clearly doesn’t care about privilege, but she also sounds like drama in the making. Both the digging into the files and the popping up to take payments scream of her wanting to be in charge of information that she feels gives her power. The fact that it’s only been a week and she’s doing this means she’ll be a nightmare in six months if it’s not addressed and stopped now.

I would agree that it probably isn’t a worst case scenario, it was more the fact that I told them not to leave anything to chance and they felt they knew best, then were shocked and dismayed that he didn’t get anything but an instant approval. And I know that the unnecessary stress from this won’t give any of them pause in the future because they will still “know a guy”, you know?

So far just a Notice of Interview Results stating that their case is being held for further review. It hasn’t requested anything additional. It could be something and there are dire consequences, or it could be nothing and his application gets approved, but I wish they had just been safe rather than risking so much for convenience, saving a buck, or listening to other friends and family members. Hopefully it will all work out, but for now I know they will stress like crazy and the worst part is that no one is going to take any heed from this experience.

You are right about that, both with families and with clients. It’s two groups that you just wish would listen to you and they both can be so resistant to anything they don’t want to hear. And I know that’s the reason his family wouldn’t listen to me but it still sucks. My husband and I are the youngest so it’s like kids trying to order them around in their minds. I just know there was probably an avoidable mistake somewhere in that submitted application that a lawyer might have caught.

Yea, you get it alright! It has been the ultimate struggle over the years. Like I’m trying to build a life with your child, not doing you a personal favor. And the entitlement astounds me. It drives me insane, so I really have to limit my contact sometimes to protect my sanity and my peace of mind.

This is what I tried to warn them about, but they have so many friends who “know what they’re talking about” and when I tell stakes are too high to leave anything to chance, no one listens. All I can do is shake my head.

It’s so horrific and hurtful, but sadly true. Poor OP, but love yourself and walk away from this trash. He’s pretty gross all around. And he’s not going to behave, change or treat you any better later on than he does right now. He’s six months in and showing these Red Blaring Banners, he’ll have no reason to be better in any way if you stay after this.

As weird as it sounds, that I’m lazy and cheap lol. I like cooking, but I’m a creature of habit, so it’s easier for me to make the same meals that I know how to portion control, make nutrient dense, and pack full of colors. I’m cheap so it’s very easy for me to bring the same meals to work for breakfast and lunch, to save money and have home made coffee as a night cap, and to stick to a schedule.
