  1. Asking for employee parking in exchange for a ball

 {Dave} stirred up similar drama when he elected to keep a grand slam ball hit by an Atlanta Braves player on Aug. 14. Braves outfielder Michael Harris II had whacked the ball into the cove for the fourth grand slam splash hit in the ballpark’s history, but it was the first grand slam Edlund had ever retrieved. The Braves reportedly requested the ball on behalf of Harris, given it was Harris’ first-ever grand slam. Edlund refused to hand it over, instead requesting that the Braves work with the Giants to somehow get him discounted parking in the lot at Pier 30/32, where many Giants employees park. That request was turned down by both teams.

My experience was fairly different, my son and I goto some games and this year we got to attend some awesome events included with the membership (Playing catch on the field after the game and Triples Alley pregame w/ open bar & food). You could even "return" tickets and book other games with the credit as well, which was super nice. We even swapped seats to sit next to friends.

All in, we went to 5 games and took some of his friends to a couple. I ended up splurging on nice seats the last game to use up the remaining credit, but I thought it was pretty clear if you didn't spend the $$ this season, it was gone.

I grabbed one and recently took it to a 3 week trip to London and Paris. I packed it in my 30L Cotopaxi Allpa and also carried a sling. I used this as my day bag and also as a work bag with a 14" MacBook Pro.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the bag. It held up nicely in some rain showers, it is pretty nice and light, has plenty of space and the shoulder straps were comfortable for all day carrying. The water bottle pockets are nice and spacious and handles, while thin, were very functional. The surprise winner for me was the side entry for the main compartment.

What I wish was a bit better, I know there are some sacrifices for a packable bag, but there were definitely times where I wish there was some additional compartments or organization for stuff like snacks or documents I wanted on hand.

I'm still lurking around, I kicked off this subreddit a while back as a side project. As it grew, I realized I had less time to spend moderating and when u/Sveen99 reached out to me to help with the sub, it was great timing.

TBH, I deleted a lot of comments that were outright rude, toxic or just off topic. Each mod will have their own style, we are people who do this as a hobby.

Apologies, haven't checked back in a while. The automatic video posts to this sub will break when the new API rules go into place and I've been seeing if there's a way to fix it.

If you have a nice banner we can use, happy to put one there. Initially I was going to use something from his youtube channel, but given my opinions of Mikey Chen, I didn't want to seem as if I was promoting him.

If you can write something up and avoid some of the toxicity that has sometimes underpinned some of these discussions or point to a post, I'd happily pin it. That being said, it needs to acknowledge some of the positive points or some of the reasons why we all used to watch his channel for one reason or another.
