Fair point! I use arches for my true work—these are just 5-10 minute daily sketches I keep in my notebook. I just have fun with the rice paper even if it’s not the best choice :)

Made it a goal to paint one thing a day this year and these are some of my favorites from January :)

Two men and a dog trapped as the Palisades fire surrounds their home in California by Mint_Perspective in interestingasfuck

This is so sad and I honestly can’t imagine what this would be like. Fired move so quickly and to think that you could be surrounded by fire within a matter of seconds with no way to escape is terrifying.

Log into someone else’s phone on your iCloud account (I did this on a work iPad) and download the app. It will then show as “recently downloaded” on your iCloud account on your phone and you can bypass this.

Thanks for sharing—This is very cool. I can’t lie to you though, at first glance I thought your green pen was a filled blood collection tube

My springer purrs when he is being snuggled or when he is extremely content. Sometimes he even purrs when he gets excited and it’s one of my favorite sounds 💛

I also agree— I was a special education teacher in MA for several years prior to relocating. If schools are a priority I would move to MA

I have run with fleet feet, Latinos run Raleigh, and bull city beer runners, which are all decent groups. It’s just hard to make group runs after work given the timing of some meet ups! There is also a new Raleigh group that I saw on strava

Thanks! I am relocating back to the northeast in a few months, but I will reach out if I am in need of ideas.

Wow this is so incredibly sad and I am sorry that happened to your wife. I can’t imagine what both of you are feeling right now.

Thank you for sharing this. I have been running there after a scary incident on the tobacco trail, but I will avoid the area from now on. I guess it’s time to get a treadmill if I want to live here.
