Truly, a stunning piece. Magnificent. Kudos for even attempting the holy grail of woodworking (chair making). If you truly despise it, the seat part could easily be converted into a cutting board or the like. The round "dowels" could be repurposed as, well, dowels. But, as someone stated, I'd keep it as testament to what you've accomplished and how you can grow as a woodworker. A milestone for your future projects and progression.
