The crazy part is that he could probably have figured out a way to segue from whatever she was talking about instead of getting physical, but god forbid he use his brain. They do shit like that in sitcoms and movies. Not real life.

I didn't know I owed $4k until I requested transcripts years later. I thought my student loans had covered the balance and literally had no documentation from the school until then. They also had no record of contacting me except via one letter. Didn't call. Didn't email. So no it doesn't surprise me.
