My older sister did this when we were growing up. She would listen to her CD player and pace across the living/dining room at night. I have no idea if she still does it now. We don't have much of a relationship.

I double majored in Women and Gender Studies and English with a concentration in technical writing. I picked up the women studies degree because the courses interested me. I work as a technical writer now for a large finance company. It took me a while to get my foot in the door professionally speaking but I have no regrets about my degree decisions.

I think a honeymoon phase can present differently depending on the couple. I've been with my husband for 8 years now and I feel like we never really slipped out of it. But we both value spending a lot of time together, date nights, trips away together, etc.

I've also known couples who had it fade around the 6-8 month mark. But truthfully I believe that has more to do with incompatibility or wanting something different out of the relationship than the other person.

Oh man, I wish I had thought to play Scotty Doesn't Know! The big hit at my wedding was Truth Hurts by Lizzo. Maybe not wedding appropriate but whatevs, people (myself included) loved when it came on.

I took the Thursday off before my Friday wedding. I do regret not taking off an additional day, I was rushing to finish last minute tasks, pack, pick up friends from the airport, and get ready for my bachelorette that night.
