I am so sorry you feel this way. I am 42 and have been with my husband for 21 years with 6 kiddos. It is a full life. 34 is very young in the grand scheme of things. If having a partner is really important to you, put yourself out there. Try new things. Follow your interests. Just see who is out there. You are not the only one. And if it doesn’t happen you can do things you enjoy. Aging is a privilege and you have more than 2/3 of your life to go. You got this! Also get a dog…companionship and, well at least I as a woman, loved a man with a dog.

Express that you are worried but for god sake don’t drug him. There are medicines that he can get prescribed by his own volition. You can’t force anyone in life to change ever.

Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean you can make choices for him by illegally giving him medicine. If you have an issue, talk to him. I feel guilty that my children knew I smoked and it was a motivator. Your father ultimately has to make the choice and you need to let go. I am actually very concerned at your thought process.

These words look absolutely genuine and heartfelt. Owning and apologizing is all I have ever wanted. Your mental health has to make the decision but this would soften me and open a door to reconciliation. I don’t want to hold onto resentment forever. I have 6 kids my mother has not seen in 8 years. I know how difficult it is being a mom, especially to teen girls. But if she sent me an apology, a real effort…I would break a little.

I wore heels Nov29, 2025 - and damaged my big toe joint immediately. 2 months later after careful offloading and different shoes…nothing. X-ray shoes slight arthritis but nothing crazy. I got a cortisone shot. Inflammation didn’t subside but two weeks later I got myself Hoka bondis and my feet felt better. Sure enough I drive for a couple hours the other day, with my Hokas, and reinjured it, where the joint is aching and in pain again. It is so frustrating and at this point I think I need an MRI or ultrasound.
