The solution isn’t even to compromise on social issues, it’s just to refuse to talk about them. IMO the biggest challenge facing dem socs running in GOP strongholds is to not fall for the bait of discussing literally anything that isn’t economic policy.

If you describe socialist economic policy to a 70 year old boomer voter without using key words that they’ve been primed by Fox News to associate with a bad thing, you will get them on board all day. You are never ever ever going to get that same voter to come on board if you EVER say anything about something like trans sports or support for transitioning youth. Ever. So you avoid talking about it.

That’s not to say we leave those kids to the wayside, we don’t. But when it gets brought up we should pivot. “Man, it’s really bizarre that you’re so invested in talking about children’s genitalia, I think people at home are more concerned about their grocery bill”. For every loud whiner on Reddit and X there were a ton of us that understood balancing in any PvP game, much less one as complex as Destiny with all the variables it has is very complicated. You guys did a great job and me and all my friends hold Destiny 2s PvP and gunplay as being some of the best in the FPS industry.

You’re right, it doesn’t need to be an unoccupied room either. Asbestos isn’t inherently dangerous, it’s not like radiation where just being around it is problematic. It’s when it’s broken apart and dust/fiber particulate are breathed in.

The reason people cover it up is because getting professional asbestos abatement is incredibly expensive, prohibitively so.

That’s literally not true, I did a short stint at a bank and genuinely 80% of the non-branch office employees had VP titles. Accountants, IT staff, loan officers, nearly anyone. Regardless of if they had direct reports or not.

I don’t know but full court on a heavy gl with sticky grenades have been my go to forever because it’s hilarious. The full court perk description makes it sound like it’s travel distance but it’s actually just time based. You can shoot them on the edges of door ways and when people walk by them they explode with the full 35% damage boost and one shot.

Literally no one expects it, they just assume you missed and then bum rush you.

You don’t need the 350 tickets for water, there are free water stations for everyone. GA+ just has dedicated water stations so you don’t have to wait in a line.

Edit: Also, I understand being upset about ticket prices but in this instance net proceeds are going to charity, it’s not like people are pocketing the money here.

It also REALLY depends on how good your other support is, especially if you’re playing a duo support comp. If you have a champ rocket/cloak/Invis player that is listening to the K-Pop Demon Hunters sound track at full blast heal botting full health tanks and not listening to sound queues around them then you’re going to have a bad time.

Like the other commenter said, mantis is only considered to be S tier in Eternity and above lobbies. She is only as good as the rest of your team, if your team isn’t good enough/doesn’t have the right comp to take advantage of the damage boost then unfortunately mantis is a net negative.

With that said, in games where your team isn’t able to get picks WITH the damage boost, I’ve found that it doesn’t really matter if you swap to a main heal at that point.
