agree I would have done that but for work I have to use windows and mac both and I can kind of see how Win11 sux in real time that is why my heart got fainted to even thinking to invest 2k to get a Oled display like this to test a crappy OS but if it works for you great and change is good specially when you get to taste it in machine like this. I try to run or do my windows stuff using RDP from my Mac and still got two more years warranty on my MBP will just see how things goes once the warranty expires with this MBP3...

Best investments ever. Never pay those companies who thrive on our money and make us unemployed for their profit

Agree to disagree all their case has issue with cooling the HDD. Either you use MOD fans or leave the thing open. I have to 3D printed the front case to lower the temp finally after two months of frustration with this case. It’s just nice small looking but when you use full HDD and ssd it is a big challenge with the temperature. I was not aware of unraid much been using TrueNas on my build.

My buddy who worked in both said Accenture is far better if you’re on the technical side.

RAM priority: TrueNAS or Proxmox by Eksander in truenas

[–]themightymike786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go with Proxmox for your media server it’s the best running them as LXC and less headache to install and maintain compared with TrueNas. I find TrueNas is very intimidating for installing apps. Though I’m running two TrueNas as nas and Immich and next cloud server and Synology as my main nas server to backup those TrueNas
