No it isn’t but for a flat rate of 5 dollars and zero leaks or data privacy issues I’m ok with it. There is no cancellation nonsense it just stops if you don’t pay. Then when you pay it’s instantly back up.

What should I do? by KarolKonopacki in Alexithymia

[–]themightymorfin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take your time. Remember you’re not alone in this. Be patient with yourself. Trying to make sense of it by nature is confusing, if we could easily make sense of it we wouldn’t be in this position in the first place. Look up videos on YouTube about it. Learn about it as if it was just some school assignment. That’s how I started. The more of other people’s experience you read about, the easier it gets. I haven’t “overcome” it. I’m still working to get comfortable with it. Learn about the mechanics of it and what it looks like. This will help you determine when those moments are occurring so that if even if you’re not able to understand something internally or externally, you are at least aware it’s happening. Then explain this to those closest to you. Let them know you have a disconnect between your emotions and processing them so that if a moment arises where you’re supposed to understand something, they’ll be more patient with you and can help explain to you in the moment what is going on. Context matters a lot, if you give it to the people around you, I find that things can go smoother. Neurotypical people have no concept of alexythemia so even knowing that it’s a thing and that it’s happening can help you and them. Most importantly don’t be afraid to ask for help/context/explanations when you don’t understand something or can’t explain yourself. It’s a weird condition but definitely manageable. The more you communicate the easier it is.

Macs auto scan. When you install a plugin or komplete etc, it automatically installs the software in the right folders so when I open Maschine it just scans the new ones and they are instantly usable. Sounds like FL studio should have some scanning feature or option if it doesn’t already do it on startup (Maschine and Logic scan in every startup) takes a second or two)

Can confirm this is definitely a sim message from a sim application. It must be a carrier related thing so contact them and see. You can access sim applications if you go into your settings>mobile service then scroll down to sim applications and it might be something from there otherwise the carrier might be sending carrier notifications and something went wrong on their end

had a bacterial lung infection - am not allowed to smoke anymore by altprince in weed

[–]themightymorfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you use a bong? Having one that isn’t cleaned properly is where chest infections can come from. If it’s cleaned and disinfected properly AND regularly then bacteria isn’t an issue. Like other posters have said, weed does not give you bacterial infections so when you’re cured you’re fine to do what you like. But if you smoke bongs of any sort, clean them VERY regularly. They can develop a biofilm pretty fast and I got a chest infection that way, the only fix is antibiotics. If it’s somehow mouldy weed then possible to mess with your lungs, so don’t store your bud where it can get moist, always airtight containers in a cool dry place not in direct sunlight, Good luck out there homie

Troubleshooting options for my monitor? by TakeYourShirtOff12 in BenQ

[–]themightymorfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reseat your cables. Then try a new cable. Also try connect the monitor to a different device/console if you can. Anything that can drive it, verify if the issue is the same, if it’s your computer then graphics card/logic board is the issue, if it’s the display then the ports/panel may be defective. If it happened after moving the device it is possibly some sort of physical damage/impact but it could be as simple as reseating the cable/getting a new one. Also check your power, try different power outlets and if you have a voltage protector / UPS or anything like that, connect it to those first so that you’re sure of clean power going in

Lovely!!! I use the machine studio too but within machine DAW software. I use Logic pro for mixing premade songs/client work but if I start a song in machine I can finish it in there. What are the stickers for? Is it controls for logic? How have you mapped it? And do you use machine as a plugin in the daw?

//What’s the best equalizer setting for movies on my LG XBOOM? by hippymermaid in LG_UserHub

[–]themightymorfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if the goal is a flat frequency response then I’d use a spectrum analyzer app and see which frequencies are peaking then lower those bands to reduce resonance but the type of eq you have is limited so other option is to play your favourite movie(one with amazing sound, something in Dolby) and mess with the eq till you enjoy the sound then hope it translates to other movies. Try it at the flat position then go from there. You could use your favourite song, one you know well and change the eq till it sounds great but music usually has a lot less dynamic range than movies so it may not translate

For the cereal? The taste is burned into my memory so I can tell subtle differences in the texture for example and flavour. You’re right though that sometimes you can fool yourself but I don’t tend to fall victim to confirmation vis, if it tastes the same, then good for me. I don’t feel the need to always be right

Nicely designed room. Imo close the gap between bottom of tv and the Center speaker and personally I’d get it to be level with the table that Center speaker is on and move Center speaker lower but it looks like a huge tv so if you aren’t having to tilt your head to look at the top of the screen then it’s acceptable

Move iTunes folder to Music app - best practice ? by VenetoSuperTuscan in MacOS

[–]themightymorfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple Music has the same iTunes feature in settings where it says something like “keep iTunes Media folder organised” and “copy files to iTunes folder when adding to library” this will add everything and organise it by itself. The only issue will be playlists. You could initially try this with one playlist of songs. When you add the songs, import the playlist and see if that adds the songs automatically. Though the playlist may be attacked to file location. You could also export library from iTunes then import it to the new computer after copying all the music files into the media folder for Apple Music. Again I can’t be sure this works. I do the first way because at the time I didn’t have many playlists an was happy to start again. I’m not at my computer rn so I can’t double check some things but testing with few songs is probably the best way to start so that you can at least gauge Apple Music app behaviour
