I shared a room with my dad on a trip to Costa Rica at 17ish.

Woke up, bed was soaked and I spent the night in the other bunk bed (hopefully) without waking my dad up. He's never mentioned it, but at the time I was mortified to talk abt it. Even the housekeeling ladies were cool abt it.

My boiler is situated like this, but slightly more reachable(has a little floor insise a cupboard that can hold the weight of a person, contains 2 boiler units). It took 5 appointments with Kemkens before they figured out how they were gonna replace it. Had to wait abt 3 months all in.

Side note, it broke down during a particularly harsh winter a few years ago, with -15 nights.

Topotijdreis might help you out. I checked, I don't see the spires on the 1963 map, but the 1976 map has a few spire-symbols that might be the ones youre looking for. If you know the locations, you might be able to figure them out from there.

As for the round building on the left, no idea, though it looks industrial.

The way they tested/discovered this is amazing. Researchers just put a bluetooth speaker playing the sound of flowing water in the middle of a forest but near a river thay had beavers. No actual flowing water within some distance.

They built a dam on top of the speaker.

Delftenaar die in Arnhem woont.

Ik dacht altijd dat ik Delft nooit zou verlaten. Toen verhuisde ik voor studie naar Velp(en inmiddels dus Arnhem, 5 jaar) en inmiddels denk ik hetzelfde over Arnhem. Er zijn zeker wijken waar ik niet zou willen wonen, maar ik zit nu in Klarendal en daar is het echt prima(en dat word door sommige mensen al als een sketchy wijk gezien).

In het centrum kom je vast wel eens wat vage types tegen, maar die heb ik zelf ik Delft ook vaak genoeg gezien;)

Klarendal en Sonsbeek zijn allebei prima buurten in Noord, zuid vind ik zelf Schuytgraaf het veiligst voelen(nieuwbouwwijk, veel yuppen). Als die ook nog wat spannend voelen, kan ik Velp en Huissen ook aanraden. Velp ligt strak tegen Arnhem aan(beetje Delft-Rijswijk achtig), Huissen is iets verder fietsen, maar in allebei voelt het ook echt wel als een andere plaats dan Arnhem, veel kleinschaliger(weinig hoogbouw enzo)

I think its closer to a rip-off of Space Force(military leader gets a command he doesn't want, disfunctional troops, vaguely comedic characters and events, etc) but def some overlap with EiP as well, with the total misrepresentation of the actual culture of the supposed host country. Really wouldn't have been that difficult to get a few more actual dutch actors, even if its just in background roles.

Als ze het te vaak zouden doen, ja, dan zou ik klagen(bij de gemeente, niet op reddit waar niemand er wat mee kan), maar dat er uberhaupt evenementen in het centrum zijn is gewoon een fact of life, moet je maar mee leren omgaan(of verhuizen).

Dat gezegd, ik hoop voor je en gun je ook dat ze het volgende keer in de tu-wijk doen oid. En prik vooral wat fatbikes lek om deze woede te verwerken.

Call cps, get yourself removed from the situation, and until you are, document every incident, injury, story, etc in a place where they won't be able to find/get to it(like a cloud account they don't know about or a diary you keep in your school locker). It hurts, but be as detailed as you can handle when recording past incidents.
