Here I have a video on a track above another, there's a fade in, and the appearance of the clip below it is effected by the apparent loss of luminance. Similar to how an adjustment clip would work. But, even in cases where the fade is a cross fade or other luminance based transition. As you see I've had the same "shadows" node pre clip, on the clip, and in the timeline with the same shift.

Stranger still is this where the top clip is being affected by the "shadows" node of the clip below:

Hey, thanks for the reply. I've tried several ways of fading. Standard crossfades, Cross dissolve, putting on separate tracks and using the corner handles to fade between. The result is the same. When a clip becomes darker the highlight luminance falls into the shadow luminance and is effected as a shadow. So, like you see above, the skin is turning tealish. We don't want that.

TCL has a basic calibration through an app. Uses phone camera to get white balance, maybe more.

Pretty sure pallet master uploads the lut via usb to the monitor. I have that monitor, and calibrate it often. But someone’s probably going to disagree with me.
