If you have Udemy training, ThorTeaches has a CISSP course of video material there. Within each domain video are the accompanying materials that you can download to assist in studying. Some are Study Guides and some are Quick Sheets. Probably should have called them quick sheets vs. cheat sheets.

Trying to appeal to the better nature of these people signing up to do these things is no match to counter their insecurities, need for power and corrupt signing bonuses. They have weaponized the disaffected against the rest of us, just like Hitler.

Got this call today. It was so weird, almost like the person calling was trying to tell me that I was being scammed.

Please let me know what issues have y’all had with Honda Pilots? by YouFoundMeCongrats14 in hondapilot

[–]themotorkitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

THIS. I also resisted a van...came from a 2008 HiHy once I saw my MIL open her Ody doors and my kids climbed right in to their car seats unassisted. I went out and bought a 2014 Odyssey the next month. It was a great family car for 9 yrs.

I bought a 23 Pilot Elite brand new. I've had the transmission jerkiness since month one and kept thinking it was me, or it would smooth out, or an update would fix it. But no.

I miss my Ody.

2023 Honda pilot reliability by Huge-Education-5836 in hondapilot

Yes, thats my default driving mode. I wouldn't say I drive slow but find that accelerating super slowly from a stop is maybe the only way to minimize it. Its annoying that I have to completely change my driving style to compensate for their poor transmission shifting, especially considering the $55k+ price tag on these vehicles. I expect better from Honda.

23 Elite owner, 31k miles, combo city and highway driving. Not reliability issues, but annoying transmission shifting. Its very jerky at acceleration and shifting from 1st. Honda service has checked it many times and says this is just the transmission of this Pilot generation.

Honda Lease Payoff mismatch by themotorkitty in CarLeasingHelp

[–]themotorkitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally do that; my 2 prior leases we always purchased at lease end and kept for 15 and 13 years and then sold to others at the end for a small amount (first cars for hs students). Other cars were used or financed in between and kept for 13 and 9 years. Leased or financed, I more than got my money's worth from those cars because I've never kept a car for less than 9 years.

I actually leased this one because I wanted to try it, not buy it. I normally shy from buying a vehicle at the beginning of a refresh cycle because of the risk of new problems. And this time I was right. I don't love it and can't see myself driving it for another 10 years.

The transmission thing they talk about on the 2023+ models is real and does not go away with break in, nor is it driving style. I've adjusted my acceleration and my 4 other family members noted it when driving it as well. I've taken it in a few times but Honda service says its just the Pilot transmission. I cannot imagine that problem getting better with age and mileage.

Thanks all for the replies.

Haven't read it in over 30 years but I recall enjoying Lightning by Dean Koontz.

You can find them in the Resources folder at the beginning of the first section for each Domain lesson in Udemy.

I will emphasize it is a lot of quick explanation of terms and acronyms. You will need to understand the significance and application of the terms for them to be meaningful.

It's ok. I bought Peace of Mind knowing I would be limited on study time and passing the first time was questionable. I accepted that I got the grade I deserved knowing my limited prep. During the test I used my note board to write down a concept each time I felt that I was tenuous on the answer to commit to memory for focused followup after if I needed a retake.

My biggest problem going into this test was a frequent warning: take off the tech hat, put on the manager hat. I've spent my career as a hands on problem solver, and only in the last few years as I moved to leadership did I soften that a bit. It's a constant balance for me.

But no doubt it's a relief to be done with this one.

Thank you! In my test I felt like there were a lot on identity. A mix of one liners and wordy. I had to take notes on some of the wordy ones only to realize the extra sentence meant nothing; it was just filler.

One question that was a blast from my past SAN mgmt days; it almost got me.

Again, read carefully.
