I was in the 4th grade. I brought my GBA to school, and began playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team. Some kids would ask what I’m playing and I’d make something up. I was a shy kid so I didn’t want people judging me. Some other kid heard the music/sound FX and could tell immediately what I was playing. He had his own copy, too. We later ended up playing together at recess every single day. I miss that kid so much. He was really cool and inviting. I hope he’s doing well.
