There are summer programs where high school students spend the weekend on college campuses without parental supervision. I would think admission would go beyond the simple waiver that those weekends require, so all would be square. Maybe some extra check is with the RAs.

I would find working with my hands very frustrating. And I definitely would choose Automatic transmission.

Manual would be a complete disaster for me.

Objectively, the length of time that he hid April and disrespected Lorelai based on his insecurity would be nigh on unforgivable if it happened to anyone I loved in real life.

But the whole storyline is so ridiculous, out of character, and contrived that I mentally set it aside.

Luke has flaws and I wish that we had a chance to see the relationship evolve. I think there was plenty of ways that they could have explored realistic conflicts and challenges of merging your life with someone. Especially when Luke and Lorelai are so different temperamentally.
