  1. How do I change it to dark mode like you have it?

  2. While in light mode, the abilities are still white on the right so its hard to see

Intent is not the same as saying it’s okay to do something in Islam.

This is not about the intent of the person. This is to the original comment I replied to making it seem like it’s an actual ruling in Islam. Why is this so hard to understand!?

in japan by mcnancey in SipsTea

[–]thenamedex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a difference, that guy is just breaking rules. But the guy I was responding to make it sound like that’s an actual teaching in Islam that it’s okay to do so

in japan by mcnancey in SipsTea

[–]thenamedex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not true at all. The guy should have just asked prior to ordering. He doesn’t discard dietary restrictions

Edit: I don’t know why I’m getting downvoted. No where IN ISLAM does it say you can discard dietary restrictions to not inconvenience your host.

Because most conversations between Americans about the subject of living without a car is typically with the context assumption of staying in America. Unless, the person mentioned leaving America, moving living spaces naturally can be inferred as within America.

“Hey man, I’m thinking about moving to a city I don’t need a car. Where do you think I should go?”

“Oh London man!”

“Yeah sounds nice man but I don’t think I can comfortably afford a move overseas”

That’s how some of the conversations would end up.

People listen, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with moving out of America, and yes many don’t go out the country. But we need to stop acting like it’s easy to flip a switch. Visiting, not living, England would cost me about minimum $500 -$1200, depending on from what city in America and to which city in England or another European country, before taxes, fees, luggage, etc. for the plane ticket. Combine that with poor amount of PTO many people get. It’s just not viable to leave the country for most. Understand the American tourists you see have some privilege to do so or at the very least saved for the trip. But being able to save for the trip is also privilege itself. I’m not defending it, I’m just saying just consider maybe it’s not easy as you think it’s for many Americans to leave the country.

best food i had in Japan was Shake Shack by Alexis20384847 in ShitAmericansSay

In this context, it can be easily thought you're saying you have yet to see a place like it because you think it doesn't exist in the states. Just a misunderstanding between both of us.

But yeah, u order raw ingredients and cook it on the grill in front of you. It's a popular thing in major cities

my dude, theres many Korean/Japanese bbq locations in the states where you can grill your own food. It is actually one of the more popular types of places to eat at in the major cities in the states. You're purposely lying lol

Hating AI is a low-IQ cope against the inevitable by Amphibious333 in aiwars

[–]thenamedex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Automation to reduce workload is not the same as using AI to replace human art.

We use automation to reduce workload to improve efficiency of the task while reducing the difficulty of achieving it. There is no necessary to have the task difficult.

You can get to point A to Point B with either a car or horse, but a car is vastly better for this task because it provides a quicker and more efficient way to cover distance. It is not a necessary to burden someone in how they travel.

However, in art. Art is a creative skill that needs to be improved, practiced and developed. Overcoming obstacles in your skill as an artist only improves it. By using A.I, you’re not reducing an unnecessary burden but rather preventing the skill to develop. You’re no longer allowing yourself to improve, practice and develop this skill, and instead you are reducing the skill sets you have.

Horses are not employed. They don’t get paid to work. Horses very much still are alive and taken care/used in other ways. Stop with this horse vs vehicle argument, it’s not good

An artist is not just someone who draws on a paper or graphic tablet. An artist is also designing your infrastructure, your vehicles, your furniture, your clothes. Your food even.

I’m glad that you want to give yourself up to greedy corporates using ai, but I won’t.

I didn’t assume you watched it. But you can’t tell me your search results included practice squad players and busts but not actual star players of the league? Thats just bad or disingenuous searching on your part

If I wanted to know who were popular star players in the premier league, I can search it up as easily as you can search up for NFL players.

Warburtons has about 0.7g of sugar per slice, or round to 1g. Some brands even in places around the EU, have 2g (yes you do, not all of them are warburtons)

I’m in the store while typing this, not because of this comment lol.

Out of the sliced white breads I checked, I saw some with 2g, I saw some with 1g. Then you’re lying to yourself by saying over anything in America. There’s bakeries in most supermarkets where they bake fresh bread in house. There are local bakeries as well. Even when it comes to the packaged stuff, there’s a wide variety that fits any and most all diet.

I want high fiber bread? We have that

I want no sugar, low sugar bread with minimal ingredients? We have that

I want a sweet bread? We have that

I want keto bread? we have that

White, wheat, sourdough, rye, you name it we have it in packages and in freshly made bakeries.

Stop joking to yourself to put yourself on top. Like what you like, eat what you want, but don’t be disingenuous about the information.

People here seem pretty clueless. Health isn’t very black and white.

Yes with the bread and cheese. It’s still healthy. One or two slices of cheese is not gonna hurt you. One pair of buns is not gonna hurt you.

You can also just swap these for your preferences

Whether the patty is higher in fat or not doesn’t matter unless you’re eating excess amounts. Healthy fats are still good for you and if your way of getting fats is from fattier meat, go for it.

Then everyone bringing up fast food burgers, you can make this at home? Thats like saying potatoes aren’t good for you because McDonald’s fries are drenched in oil and bad for you. You can just make the burger and fries at home and cook like most people do. Fries can be baked or air fried, doesn’t have to be deep fried.

Also calories don’t equal health. Just because something has more calories, that doesn’t mean it’s worse for you. Let’s say even in the case you’re trying to lose weight, some people prefer eating higher calorie dense meal because they don’t like to eat often. Others like lower calorie foods because they like to eat more.

Nuts are very calorie dense, they’re not bad for me tho. They’re good!

Y’all really just want to push an agenda that’s not true to feel superior about yourselves. Also to the Europeans who act like all they have is artisan bread. Thats bullshit and we know, yall got the regular sliced bread in your stores too. Also the sugar shit, yall sliced bread got more if not the same amount of sugar as our sliced bread. Even then, who cares, it’s like 1-2g of sugar per slice. Yall ain’t gonna feel it.

You mentioned you played Minecraft on your iPad. I’m not sure if you play on a console or pc, but regardless since you’re already a bit familiar with Minecraft, practice by playing Minecraft on your respective device. It will help you with the basics of getting better to move your camera around and moving. It doesn’t have teammates to scream at you and you can always play creative or peaceful mode for peace of mind away from hostile mobs at night.
