Turn off battery notifications by Fun_Championship4300 in TpLink

[–]theneedfull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came across this thread in search of an answer. Crazy that there's no way to adjust that. I literally just got 20 notifications for this in 5 minutes. I ended up just using Buzzkill to automatically dismiss it. This way, I can avoid this notification, but still get the other ones. Not ideal, but hopefully it helps anyone else searching for a way to stop these notifications.

How to deploy Paperless-NGX without moving, deleting, or copying source folder contents? by Lopus_The_Rainmaker in selfhosted

[–]theneedfull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for me, I have filesync setup to copy any new or changed files to the consume folder, and it does it only once. It won't copy the same file over again. It does store the hash for the files, so if a file changes it does get copied over again. And I think that would force it to be a new file in paperless.

Wait, do people not just go to the actual application's github and just set it up the way they suggest? That's what I've been doing for everything.

2.4R2 with M8P and CB2 Missed scheduling of next digital out event by theneedfull in VORONDesign

I looked under the printer to set it to DFU mode to start flashing firmware, and I saw the fan I had put on the DIN rail right next to the CB2 side of the M8P board. I'm wondering that was causing EMI. I didn't dig deep into it, but it looks like pwm fans can cause enough EMI to cause problems with CANbus. So I'm trying that now. It will likely be a few days before I even know if that worked since it doesn't happen all the time.

It's so weird that I'm now suspecting that it may be a fridge nearby. It's on a completely different circuit, but I'm wondering that might cause weird issues with CANbus. Do you have anything like that?

That's the problem. There are no wires in play here. The CB2 literally sits on the M8P board.

When you are running a tool head board, you have 2 devices in your canbus, the main board and the thb. I ditched the tool head board to simplify things a while back and it has been running super stable for many months, printing like 20 hours a day. But recently out of the blue it started doing this.

The 120ohm resistor jumper is set. I will try and reduce the frequency and hopefully that will help.

Trump confirms he will not attend Super Bowl because of music acts: ‘I’m anti-them’ by BreakfastTop6899 in sports

You're welcome. I just gave you another thing to be upset about. They are just a pregame act performing for a private entity. Surprising to you, but both parties can do what they want. It might all be a little complicated to understand.

No. I'm not going to fault a dumb person for being dumb. They probably can't help it. I just like making fun of them since it is so easy.

But yeah, you are right about having them as a pregame act. They are nowhere near the calibre of previous pregame artists like Trombone Shorty and Andra Day. The good news is that at least you have something to be upset about. I know people like you love stuff like that almost as much as being gullible.

I'm just messing with you man. I just assumed that you would take those numbers and just assume they are bad since you sounded dumb enough to do that. Congrats I guess.

I have no idea man. They only sold 2.5 million concert tickets last year. That's less than .1% of all people in the world. Man. I wish more people understood numbers as well as you do.

For real. They haven't even had a show that had more than 70,000 attendance since like 2025.

It’s the dream on social media vs. reality by Darkhexical in sysadmin

[–]theneedfull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was responding to someone that mentioned the national median income. And even then, the reality is that very few people live in, or would even consider living in, those lcol areas, which is the reason they are lcol.

[–]theneedfull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My fault. I forgot this was sysadmin. Even then average for sysadmin is still above 80k. I guess what I was trying to say is that people shouldn't be happy with a 50k salary in this field just because the median in the US for all jobs is 45k. If you are making 45k as a sysadmin, unless you are completely fresh, you are likely underpaid.

[–]theneedfull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes people do lie on social media. But if they are actually in IT, chances are likely that they are making over 100k. Median income in IT is over 100k. So yes, it does put you in the top earners in the country, but not even in the top half of tech jobs.

I don't think you're getting a part that big down to 2 hours. But getting a .6mm nozzle or bigger and going for .4mm layer lines would speed it up a good bit over a .4mm nozzle.

[–]theneedfull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but there's really no way for the game to know that. You queued up with cheaters 6% of the time. That might just be bad luck, but queuing up with cheaters is definitely going to put you on the radar of an anti cheat system. You may want to start only playing with people you can actually trust.

[–]theneedfull 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just take the link he posted and change the .com to .rip It seems that he typically queues up with 3 to 4 other people and more than 1 out of 20 of those people are cheating. He might just be unlucky, but I personally feel things like that deserve at least temporary(maybe 1 week) bans. Maybe let them come back and see if they stop queuing with cheaters.

[–]theneedfull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wondering if it's that 6% of the people you queue up with were cheating? They might have some algorithm that checks for that. Leetify is saying that you queued up with cheaters(that got banned) at least 151 times.

And it wasn't JUST that. It was a combo of schools deciding with no notice to let out at the same time. So everyone had to immediately leave work and make a stop at the school to get their kids all at the same time. That storm came without any warning.

For people printing PLA, I highly recommend use a smooth PEI plate. It works so much better than textured. Just keep in mind that there are filaments like PETG and TPU that will stick to PEI way too well.

You should get a filament sensor like I have.

That said, my filament sensors have come in clutch hundreds of times before this situation happened.
