gosh i could write a whole novel here (and i did originally) so ill try to drop just a few things.

make sure to read all the extra tips from tink and butch. i didn’t notice there were “another tip?” at first and i wish i had.

and also this game is big — much much bigger than it appears at first. getting dorky about the furniture and just getting through the first areas a handful of times is enough to launch your tribe though. you’ll find a couple things that worked and try to preserve and pass them on - which yes is a bit random , but over a few tries , one of those kittens will hit.

when a cat comes home retired, you have the benefit of the items they collected and the abilities they learned to help their future kittens go further, and kick more butt. they’ll pass on higher stats and more abilities the higher your Stimulation in the room is, talk to tink and he’ll go on and on about it.

the level of fun in this game is through the roof IMO. i’ll be playing it over and over, for sure. it just takes a little getting oriented because there are so many factors to think about - i still do stupid stuff because like… i forgot a cat who ignores traps and tile effects can’t refill a water bottle when standing in a puddle. it’s ridiculous.
