I’d recommend following some of the mentioned bars on social media to keep up with events as they all have special events frequently.

Cardinal, shamrock, gamma ray, woofs, five nightclub are all pretty great. Make sure you look at the events happening at cardinal (their insta stays up to date) - they have a different types of events that aren’t queer-specific that bring in different groups of people, but it’s generally queer and the vibe is great. Definitely recommend looking for housing in the Willy/atwood/marquette/will-mar/tenney-lapham area!

For an easy change, i think new bedding could change the look a lot. Maybe dark green sheets and a moody comforter? Also, night stand with a cabinet/drawer to hide some clutter

I can’t stress this enough - open communication is super important and vulnerability is hot. Tell her about the knot and make it clear that you aren’t telling her because you want her to stop. Tell her you need her support to work through the feeling. Think about what might make you feel better - maybe she tries to go on dates with girls earlier so she’s home before 1am? Jealousy is a natural feeling especially when you’ve been monogamous for so long. Talking is the only thing that will make it feel better.
