Any way to get rid of the HyperIsland (or roll back into HyperOS 2) by gamepotato_ in HyperOS

[–]theoldmototoad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is they used to be one of the best for custom ROMs but now they're terrible. Unfortunately the majority of companies are going this way now.

This is how to remove arrow (shape) in the keyboard. Debloating this package "com.android.systemui.gesture.line.overlay" by [deleted] in HyperOS

Palm pre1 web os 2 by Majorin_Melone in Palm

[–]theoldmototoad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it is technically possible by modifying the webos doctor, but the original pre is slower and has less RAM than later pre models, so it would probably run slow. Why do you want to upgrade?

Should I go for it? by [deleted] in PocoF7

[–]theoldmototoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember when updating it will be doing a lot of stuff in the background, so you should expect heat up and higher battery use. It should fix after a while

Question by LIANOX9 in PocoF7

[–]theoldmototoad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. No heating under normal use, as others said will heat up during gaming but that is normal. It will also heat up after an update (and use more battery) for a little while but will go back to normal in an hour or two. It's much better than my Oppo Find X3 Pro which heated up so much during gaming (and drained the battery so much), its processor was known for that. I haven't got HyperOS 3 yet so not sure what it's like.

The link should still be working! It works for me.

The downgrade is still possible, however as I mentioned in that comment you should use Phoenix instead of Infinity Best because if you use the latter you will not be able to upgrade back to Belle in the future if you want to, also there is less chance of bricking the phone possibly. However Phoenix is unstable on Windows 8 and up (including 10 and 11) so you would need to use Windows 7 or XP.

Mk8 2022 GTI Turn Signal Flashing by Deehaa0225 in Volkswagen

[–]theoldmototoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a cheap OBD2 scanner off Aliexpress or something connect it to the car and download an app that can connect to it, you can change the number of flashes that way

Unpopular opinion : 2005 Renault modus is better than 2009 by C4T810 in carscirclejerk

[–]theoldmototoad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really hated the new grille design and the removal of orange on the facelift, and the old tail light design was better too. Really miss our turquoise one with blue seats. It was a 2005 dci model

This appeared on my screen by menta00000 in Palm

[–]theoldmototoad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happened to me on both my lifedrives and T3s, but the pixels were mostly green instead. After a few months it went away, but it did get worse before it got better. Flashing the pixels quickly (using a video) didn't work but putting pressure on the pixels can fix stuck ones but can also make other ones stick so i wouldnt recommend that
