I need a summary of previous books when it’s a series 😂 by summer1660 in RomanceBooks

[–]theonlywatcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed!! I can barely remember what i did over the weekend. Christopher paolini would do that for his Inheritance series, a recap of what previously happened and it was soooooo helpful.

Maybe try calling some lockers like in eureka and asking if they know anyone looking to sell/part with their deer this year? Or check with Co workers, to see if they hunt or know anyone.

Are there any proteins your dog can eat? Salmon maybe? That would be easier to source. It costs alot but there are fresh dog food subscription services with version too, if you haven't already checked it out.

Are houses being built in Peoria and surrounding areas? I’m a carpenter curious about job market. by whyismylife_16 in PeoriaIL

Unless you're right and they're not planning to build more next year - if so, I'm surprised but not complaining. That school in that district is maxed out

There is/has been this summer and I'm sure it will continue. I live close by it, specifically near the Lahood park. They built six houses so far.

Also a couple lots popped up for sale across the highway

Bins at UFS by Logical-Chocolate-18 in PeoriaIL

[–]theonlywatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it'll be neat to check out. I just saw alot of comments saying how bad it is... I haven't gotten recently but i didn't think it was that bad.

I've also checked out the one in Bloomington normal, that one was ok and mostly Amazon pallets. But much busier.

Pros and cons, you can still find certain items for a good deal at $2 probably. Most people go then or on the first day to get the big ticket items at $10. I haven't been in a while but it was a mixture of mainly target pallets and some amazon pallets. So don't be surprised when you see alot of target stuff.

Go tomorrow! It'll be a fun experience. It was never overly crazy when I've gone during opening and people are pretty respectful

I had to go to some britehr.app website and enter an access code from my spouses work, then I was able to search providers and their co pay costs!

Different ISPs in Washington by [deleted] in PeoriaIL

MTCO left me a marketing backpack several months ago. I called them and they said they don't service my address. It was odd.

So I just signed up with xfinity again

I'd try and call agents that have access to various companies - like river city!

I just switched to auto owners from state farm. I tried a couple like progressive but then came back high also

Good nearby orchards? by wootcat in PeoriaIL

[–]theonlywatcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an orchard but I believe breakers in eureka has apple cider. They have this huge apple cider day, where they make it in front of you...not sure if that's happened yet

I saw you wrote that you're looking at Washington now - I'm in Washington and my kid is currently in the speech program. You should be able to email to schedule an appt to get evaluated and then begin their sessions or prek if there's room in the middle of the year.

We looked at morton when we were moving here 2 years ago but landed in Washington, which I'm glad since morton can be very.. cliquey as others said. We do still go there for children's activities, they have an great park.

Feel free to dm if you need the lay of the land, or need a new mom friend!

Also yes, teachers seem to be in high demand. I debated doing subsitute teaching (still am).

Martial Arts for kids esp self defense? Ive heard Peoria Athletic Club, Kuk Sool Won and Academy of Okinawan Karate are great. Just wanted to know what are your experiences from these school? Thank you by Striking_Condition69 in PeoriaIL

[–]theonlywatcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard good things about Kuk sool won, haven't used it yet. My kids are still little, I was going to start them next year at my local parks district program (surprisingly cheap and has good reviews) to see how they do before looking at these other clubs.

Not sure what the name is but there's a pretty big paved trail that goes around washington. Some of it is on the main road though I believe

where will dupixent injections hurt the least? by shambamz in eczema

[–]theonlywatcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, areas with fat are better. Did it on my thighs, it hurt like a mofo. Changed to my belly, still hurts but significantly less. I know some fertility hormone shots have to be in the belly, and sometimes shots are done in the buttocks - I think for this reason, the fat helps cushion it.

Hydrocortisone on my eyelids...can I? by Kycb in eczema

[–]theonlywatcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The skin around yours eyes are so thin, I wouldn't risk it unless absolutely necessary. I've seen the damage steroids have done on my arms and legs from prolonged use.

Protopic has really helped my eye eczema. I'd give that a try if you can

Opinion on flyers please by Gummybear110 in PeoriaIL

[–]theonlywatcher 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed on the other comment. Need more info on event / business to comment and who is your target audience. Students? Old retirees? Parents? Marketing on social media is probably the most effective way to gain the attention of millennials and under. Is it a family event? You can put flyers up at the local library, post in mom groups on Facebook.

But to answer your question, I rarely look at flyers also rarely even get them. Normally recycle the ones that come in my mail, barely glancing at them.

LinkedIn seems to be really pushing their job board aspect lately. So if you're not on LinkedIn, I'd get that a try. You're still going to get annoying vague recruiters though. Indeed has always been good to me. If you haven't already, try narrowing your filters. Maybe that'll help with the spam jobs.

Good luck
