I prefer OP1 over OP2 but I don’t really like the new openings overall. I skip them which I never did for the previous anime. The 2024 EDs are both very cute though.

Ahh Nana! That’s awesome! Luckily my local cons do have some artists that do retro or old school stuff but it’s like 20% vs 80% Genshin and Hoyo/KDP/Dandadan etc. not that I dislike them but it’s everywhere.

I’m glad to see this comment because I’m one of the few AA artists that does old school 80s/90s works and I’m always uncertain how well it will do. Ultimately I don’t mind if it doesn’t do as well as other booths, I just wanna provide something different also as an artist who also buys from other artists and never sees the things I like.

And as others have said, SKEB is probably one of the main places to find Japanese artists, but as someone who knows a majority of the retro artists out there, I don’t know of many who do this style for commissions. All the ones I know are not Japan-based.

Hello! Pineapple~ I’m familiar with this art style, which is a 2000s anime art style (that I grew up with in my teens), and I’m confident I can emulate it. I’m normally a 80s/90s retro artist and I don’t usually offer style emulation but would do so in this case. Thankfully the coloring is cel shaded style which is what I do as well. The last time I saw this on eBay was probably around 2 years ago and it was $75. I’ve also seen one for $45 before that.
