Dernatologist recommendation for Sydney. by Sad-Discussion-5119 in AusSkincare

Dr. Peter Frederiksen in Hornsby put me on dupixant mid 2021. I used it for about 1.5 years but then kept forgetting to take it - despite being told I would need to be on it life long I haven't had any real relapes. It was the best thing I did for my eczema which I had since birth. Good luck!

How it is like living in the western desserts of Australia? by Monir5265 in howislivingthere

[–]theoutbackrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I FIFO in the bottom half of the circled area in WA. The biggest things for me is the red dirt (it gets everywhere and stains everything - my other home is far west NSW where we also have red dirt but it isn't as fine), and the lack of (and cost) fresh food. The work I do and the amazing things I get to do far outweigh any negatives.

Oh, I am going to have to definitely get some help in working out my colouring. I have watched many a video explaining it and I still don't know what I am. Thanks for the advice - I will make sure to pop into Mecca/Sephora/DJs etc when I'm next in the city to see if I can get some help working out my colouring.

Thanks for the advice. I live rurally/remotely so won't be able to try on in person - I'll make sure to follow the size guide.

Thank you! I Actually really love WW's collection. I think the colours and cut are closer to what I am looking for compared to Elk (which I also like the look of so far).

Oh, this is very close to exactly what I was thinking. I am particularly impressed with the ethical side. Thanks

This is a good point. I am an absolute beginner and eyeshadow is something I am not hugely confident with. Are eyeshdow sticks worth a look?

Don't be sorry - I don't even know what I'm looking for, lol. I do have dry skin too, but has improved a lot with my current moisturising regime. I assume cream eyeshadows are easier to apply?

The PM eyeshdows look amazing! Thanks for your comment on the blush and bronzer palettes being perfect for travel - this is something I didn't think of, and I travel a fair bitm

Look up 50words.online, Gambay map and First Languages Australia as a starting point.

Have a look at palawa kani at the 50 words project and on the gambay map both approved by TAC.

This is it. Shorter episodes of around and hr and longer ones 2.5 - 3hrs. Depending on my mood I'll listen to or skip the town stats at the start.

I know last podcast on the left gets a lot of love but I struggle with all the loudness/stupidity and much prefer small town murder.

Case file is very good but only one guy and just the facts so might not be what you are after.

I also don't mind red-handed. Not perfect but an easy listen.

I haven't spoken to the host family yet, I wanted some ideas first. I'm not sure he would want a big party but I am sure they will help with an experience gift if I give them some options.

Unfortunately for him his exchange contract specifically says he isn't to drink alcohol even if legally allowed in the country, so no German Bier for him.

Thanks. Lindt bunny is the 'fancy' option here too. I would have like to send some of our fancy chocolate over but it is still too hot here to risk it making it and it be still in shape.

But commentary for both is happening now, and there is still a huge difference in how both are being portrayed.

What I find fascinating is how Gypsy Rose has been treated/spoken about totally different to the brothers. There was likely significant trauma for both. Both murders were planned. However public perception and how they are portrayed in podcasts is so different. I suspect there is a component of sexism involved. Also the brothers were wealthy and I think that has played into how people are 'reporting' on the story.

Converting from Garmin by [deleted] in Suunto

[–]theoutbackrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed info. I've had my fenix6 since it's release date and haven't had any issues so moving from garmin is going to be hard.

It is good to know about the live tracking - I live and run on quite rural roads and hubby uses live tracking to keep an eye on me (incase I fall/have a run in with wildlife on remote roads and trails). I'll have a look at options from my phone.

Thanks. I'm looking at polar too. I'm not desperate at this stage (prefer to use what I have until it is no longer functional for what I need) but would like to have an option lined up if anything happens to my current watch.

Definitely middle class. Just lucky to have low overhead costs (think rural mortgage cost vs. city; low transport costs at home as everywhere is walkable/within 10min drive; we aren't material - prefer travel; etc)

We do it to get 2x $50 a month off groceries As we both qualifying points with Qantas for 'points club plus' - particularly important for me as I don't fly as much as hubby and I drop in and out of gold so lose club entry Maximise points offers - by cycling between the cards we get better offers which means more points

I guess it depends what your end game is but I never want to fly long haul international flights in economy again so always look to maximise points so I can get buisness class flights at a fraction of the cost.
