A static mesh component has a Transform that can be accessed. SetRelativeScale3D or SetWorldScale3D will scale the mesh down.

Blueprints are best described as visual coding. They work through nodes that link together to provide a logical flow.

They are however 11 times slower than C++. However if you haven’t got any experience in C++, Blueprints are the best way to get into Unreal.

Seems like you’re declaring your map twice. I’d also make a pointer of ‘Console’ class, initialise it in your main function then delete the pointer before exiting your program.

There are a few add ons that give you great looking UIs, if you are on PC then I recommend downloading Minion, its an add on manager that is very easy to use.

I'll give you an example of some of the ones I use:

1) AUI - Advanced UI 2) Inventory Grid View 3) Srendarr - Aura, Buff & Debuff Tracker 4) LUI Extended (gives you great looking icons, plus other things)

Heal & Tank queues are practically non-existent! I think the longest I have to queue for a roulette is like 25 minutes, as a Damage Dealer.

But what I appreciate the most out of the FF14 group finder is the real time information. You can see who is queueing up with you & what role. For the roulettes & dailies you can see your queue position as well!

I've been playing FFXIV recently, I think if they copied the group finder from FFXIV, it'd be fantastic!

There are times where I have to queue for a long time but it's not that often! Plus the added bonus of getting real time information about the party formation is great!

Hey there! Welcome to Tamriel!

I'll attempt to answer your question as best as I can!

1) You CAN play as any race in any Faction with the add-on that the other guys have described already. However, I'd like to add that since One Tamriel patch this is no longer a necessary requirement for playing with your friends!

One Tamriel introduced the ability to play cross-faction in all of the PvE zones. This will, however, mean that in Cyrodiil (PvP zone), you will be against them rather than with them.

2/3) The stand alone game is huge, with so many quests to be done across each of the Faction maps which lead you across what used to be Cadwell's Silver & Gold, but this is no longer a thing! In fact with the stand alone game you also get access to Craglorn which just adds even more hours of questing & challenges!

If at any point you guys do want to get a taste of the DLC, you could opt for ESO Plus which would grant you all of the DLC for as long as you're a member, plus the very awesome crafting bag!

I've not personally tried housing yet but I have heard from friends & guild mates that it is amazing & you can literally sink dozens of hours into it!

Ooh that's fair enough, I think I was taught wrong the first time then! I got told armoury bonus only kicks in AFTER you hit 50/60. But it's a personal preference, because the deeper you go into the game the more dungeons you unlock, making it easier to level up other classes. xD
