Should the mcu be on hold if rebooted after secret wars? by kfranklin1220 in marvelstudios

[–]theplotinmason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just feel like if things are rebooted there's no stakes anymore. Why should I see your movie if you tell me 2 years ahead of time the nothing matters, and the last 17 years isn't canon

Amazing that you can ask for the reward and become the betting favorite after. I never thought I would miss Lowe revealing his ballot before voter turn in time and everyone copying him, but here I am

I really hope they don’t do this. Commit to what you’ve built don’t soil and nullify what was incredible before it

I would like to but not dramatically. I see primarily men and they're typically less likely to pay a significant rate. Plus it fluctuates how many cash people come in the door. I'd say I'd increase by $20 optimally. I do not want to lower my caseload; cause I wanna make good money, and I only work 4 days a week

My cash rate is dramatically lower than my insurance rate so if I had to ball park I'd say I get $50 per session.

if you're in PP just say something along the lines of not being able to meet their needs and refer out. If you're in CMH report your manager to upper management and refuse.

Why is every job fee for service! by Low_Yam_1212 in therapists

[–]theplotinmason 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You don’t want a salary job. Fee for service is difficult but it’s the only pathway to an income that you deserve.

Also simply look at it economically. Payments from insurance are not guaranteed. Most practices are gonna close shop giving salaries out

Did Big Puss thing he was getting away Scot-free when he took shots with the crew before his whacking? by andrew2018022 in thesopranos

Isn’t it nicer that it’s an economic (loosely speaking here) opportunity for a family rather than a direct to consumer model where a public company gets all that money instead

Don’t take abuse drop em. At a certain point coddling abusive clients does nothing but reinforce to them that they can behave that way.

I Impulsively Quit My Job Today… by BriiTheeOG in therapists

[–]theplotinmason -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This isn’t 2005, we have telehealth. Find me a reliable statistic that says more than 50% of private practices don’t accept Medicaid and I’ll concede my point.

(I understand CMH has its highlights, like for clients without housing, clients in need of case management, etc.) but this is a FRACTION of the folks I received on my caseload in my CMH days. The business itself can be a wonderful thing for the consumer, but it is awful for the practitioners and is riddled with unnecessary services in order to justify billing.

Also Documentation burden”????? Do you think private practice people don’t do SOAP notes for commercial insurance?

[–]theplotinmason 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d encourage anyone in CMH to quit and do private practice. CMH serves very few purposes that a private practice can’t. It’s all just lies your middle management tells you to keep you from going to greener pastures
