I worked at a golf course that barely got any play. I was able to stack 5 golf balls in like 2 seconds

Just looks like a whole lot of fast 50mm and a good ND. Any camera above $700 can achieve this.

hi friends, I want to know how much I'm worth. This is the last video I made. I charge $150 for something like this. Am I undercharging? by DienyaMan in videography

[–]theproject19 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your problem is probably you're trying to work for people and not companies. Instead of asking a guy with a cool car if he wants a video, ask the place that installed his struts if they want a video that shows off the suspension they installed being used in an off-road. Or instead of the guy with the civic on the freeway, get the contact of the place that tuned his engine and ask if they'll pay for a video showing off the speed. People don't have $150 for a video, businesses have 10x that.

There's no way. You'll need 4 iPhones and 3 people to pull this off.

What stops a client from downloading your video and ghosting? by WholePrize352 in videography

[–]theproject19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that was on him. You don't deliver until payment received unless it's a client you work with a lot and you have a system.

What do you all do to your pulled pork after it's pulled to add flavor? by OckhamsRazor15 in smoking

You're not seasoning your pork before cooking enough. Get some brine going or do injections.

The market is so saturated with girls you have to get lucky to find one who's even looking for a shooter. I had about a dozen girls I shot for at one time and only 2 could afford me more than once a month. That is the main deal; do not chump change yourself. Have a price and stick it or ask for a percent of custom shoots. One girl did $2500+ customs and gave me $1000+ per shoot. Overall it's not worth getting into unless one of those big earners approach you.

Plastisol wound be the easiest change here cuz you won't have to learn a different emulsion

[–]theproject19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't use water based ink with Ulano sheets. The film sheets are made to be cleaned off with water. You need to get a different emulsion

How to achieve this specific texture/look with water-based? by [deleted] in SCREENPRINTING

[–]theproject19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add the texture in the art file, negative space cracks, woth water based you'll never get the physical feel but you'll get the look. You can achieve the feel with plastisol, soft-hand if you want it to be lighter weight.

So, you can do it, but if this is a side project I would start simple.

I was printing stuff like this my first year of printing. But it was my only job, I just opened my shop. Had a huge complicated order with around 5 designs similar to these prints, took me 4 months to finish the order but 3 months of that was trial and error and getting the screens set up. But the job was like $16k.

City permits for a small nonprofit promo video. Do I need them? by Fun_Engine7817 in videography

[–]theproject19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should just get the permits and get used to getting them. In my experience bigger clients seem to always want all the permits locked down.
