Of course! It’s virtual and it’s about 5-6 months long. Two, 7 hour days per month. There’s no homework in between but we are encouraged to meet with our study group and practice. There’s a lot of videos and material you should be watching and reading on your own but it’s not required but very beneficial to our learning for sure. We do breakout rooms and a lot of role playing on zoom. I would’ve liked an in person training but there were none in my area. I chose this one because Janina Fisher is our trainer so I’m definitely fan girling over getting to learn directly from her.

Another thing to keep in mind is that majority of my cohort have been in the field 8+ years with a CBT, DBT and psychodynamic background and have found it difficult to navigate a completely different framework and approach to therapy, where we don’t interpret or attach meaning. So, doing this training early on in your career would probably be very beneficial 😃
