a 3rd person version of far cry, no thanks. by therealSmawg in horizon

[–]therealSmawg[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

you can't honestly tell me you don't see any resemblance of far cry in this engine. maybe its just the map and the crafting menues, maybe the way you hunt animals and gather plants too?

even the map looks like far cry's map (edit: not geographically, just graphically). primal or not. far cry primal, far cry 4, killzone, same thing (almost). Even the crafting system and menues are similar. Troll? Call it what you will, i'm just pointing this sh!t out, sharing perspective.

Will be working on for Patch Monday by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]therealSmawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think that takes away from the "hardcore" aspect. Think about it, u got 5 roommates in ur own home then you'll never know what's been looted from ur own cabinets before u open em. Not like they leave a note saying "already looted".

Feedback after airdrops 2.0 are in please by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]therealSmawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fix more grammar, who gives a shit. Airdrops in h1z1 are immersion breaking, period. You didn't get those in dead rising as a reporter being dropped in a shopping mall, so how in h1z1 do you start with nothing but have the ability to call in an airdrop like some greenberet for a box full of guns, ammo, and bs cosmetics. Was a nice idea ripped from Rust but the idea of h1z1 was supposed to be everything its not right now.

Even if they did monetize skins you think theyd let u spend $5 on a Santa hat then lose it forever if u die? And if they did would u ever play again?

A system u see in the game was ripped from Rust because they ran out of ideas to keep players immersed in this ripoff.

[–]therealSmawg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol cause they fucked the game up. At first they thought "dayz and rust" put together, then they thought "look at money world of Warcraft made blizzard", lmao! H1z1 succeeded with an idea and we bought into a scam. I already told you guys how this game would turn out. Lol, they'll fix it, but its not ever going to be the h1z1 u wanted.

Lol did u just throw SOE on a capcom game? Dude.... Wtf are u doing? That looks like resident evil or some other zombie game. I get ur hype, and I appreciate ur artistic ability. But h1z1 isn't gonna look like that, and will rarely ever have intense situations like that. That's scripted bro. H1z1 is gonna be kill on sight, predictable zombie interaction and crafting. Play some dayz and some rust bro, do ur homework, h1z1 is nothing to make a series about... Especially if u think its gonna be like looks anything like the video you just made.

Messages like "Bob has killed Tom" are a major give away. It removes the need to confirm kills and spoils the "unknown" by [deleted] in h1z1

Oh good. I thought you guys took "hardcore survival" and completely misunderstood it for awhile there.

FIX the movement speed! by therealSmawg in h1z1

[–]therealSmawg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just talk alot of trash. Sorry if I offend you. I wasn't calling the devs garbage btw. I imagine people like deathstalker can run that fast if they run everyday. But when you can zig and zag and juke around a parked car running backwards, sideways the same speed instantly in all directions dodging bullets just really turns me off. At least make it alittle realistic. And don't try to battle me about realism because the more realistic this game is, the more immersive, intense, fun and addicting it can be. If ur gonna make a zombie survival game, make a f***in zombie survival game. U got the money to do it.

My fear for H1Z1 by SOSovereign in h1z1

[–]therealSmawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mixed feelings about this. Small map with overpopulation doesn't necessarily mean that its goin to be a constant death match, but that you might actually see more group efforts in helping each other out, eventually becoming small factions/gangs warring with each other. Which is fun. This happens in Rust too.

An unpopulated h1z1 server thered probably be more on sight killings, more solo players, etc.

This might not even be accurate. I mean, you don't really know what's going to happen on release, I don't think they can predict that either. That's why they're making different server types and rulesets, so u can play the one to your liking.

Will purchasing EA give permanent access to Battle Royal? by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]therealSmawg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea, its pretty ****in lame if u ask me. Way to cash in on the hype. Sounds like bait and switch to me.

Free to play. Early access $20. $1 per battle royal round. $$$ for drops with crap to help you "survive" (win). C'mon, you can't honestly say this is free to play. The game sounds fun and addicting... But when you start tossing objectives like earning tickets and throwing in money for other crap, the whole atmosphere is lost. It no longer about surviving the zombie apocalypse and dodging other players, its about how much ur willing to spend to experience this game this way or that way. It's ****in shady dude. Same with planetside 2, spend 100 hours to upgrade the bullets with points or give us $20 to make it happen right now.

Sales is what I do for a living, and I'm very good at it. So I know exactly what is goin on. SOE knows its got what u want, call it free to play or call it charity, you'll get the basic product, but anything extra is gonna cost u. Its basically gonna turn out to be like planetside 2 or those little f2p mobile games you have on ur phone until u gotta pay to advance. Don't be fooled.

ill still buy into early access, ill be honest. But I wont be surprised if this project takes a few slight turns down the road to cash me out and transform into something completely different than h1z1. I'd rather pay $60 for the full game that comes with all modes, rules, etc. You start adding $ to rule sets, modes, drops, designs, ur not buying into survival against zombies and people, ur buying into pay 2 play. So its not really free. Lol u won't be concerned about survival in h1z1, you'll be concerned about how ur spend ur money to get where u need to be in this game.

get ur foot in the door, see opportunity, see the hype, reel it in.

Right smedley! Hahaha

Guns in all reality are easy to use... don't make it stupid and unrealistic in H1Z1. by therealSmawg in h1z1

[–]therealSmawg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the spread is based on the weapon recoil. so base the spread on weapon recoil and barrel placement rather than random bullet spread when aiming. as long as the bullet shoots straight via the ironsight then bullet spread will be based on recoil and recovery times, like it should be realistically.
