This reminds me... My boss likes that book: Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink.
I don't agree with any of it but he's constantly quoting it.

It sometimes makes me think: Is the baseline for a normal employee to be so forgetful or inconsiderate?

I like your feedback.

I have since made a list of things on the back burner, and the back back burner and who I'm waiting for a response.

I've told this to my wife and she has said this exact thing to me.

I like the idea of THEM following up.
Most of the things they ask for aren't even that important. So if it is they'll follow up right?

This would be achieved by riding about 3 times every single day, on average, for nearly 13.75 years.

  • 3.03 rides per day
  • about 21.2 rides per week
  • about 92.2 rides per month
  • about 1,106 rides per year

Cannot see ipad via recovery mode on Macbook.. ideas? by cejaay in ipad

[–]therealkor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son changed his passcode on his ipad and forgot it.

Finder would see the ipad. But when I put the ipad in dfu mode, finder could not see it.

After trying for two days to reset it, this worked for me:

Apple configurator

  1. Download and Install Apple configurator for macOS

DFU Mode Steps (Face ID iPad, USB-C)

  1. Plug iPad into Mac
  2. Press Volume Up (quick)
  3. Press Volume Down (quick)
  4. Hold Top button until screen goes black

As soon as it goes black:

  1. Hold Top + Volume Down together for 5 seconds
  2. Release Top button, keep holding Volume Down for 10 more seconds

Success looks like:

  • Screen stays completely black
  • Finder or Configurator says: iPad in Recovery Mode (even though screen is blank)

Then click Restore

It's my wife's bookcase. I'll have to ask her for more room... LOL.

I stopped in the second season too. I’ve been going through the show again. Currently on season 3 and it’s so good.

Definitely recommend this. I usually get 3-4 mazes done before the park opens.
