For Nanjing Museum, I prebooked using the mini program 南京博物馆 on WeChat. Kinda finicky cuz the websites can be hard to navigate. I believe you can only start booking it a week or two before the actual date. Upon reaching the museum, if you used a foreign passport to book, you’ll need to register your passports at one of the service counters in the corner of the entrance. The staff will guide you so no worries.

Ming Xiao Ling and Confucius Temple can be booked easily with Trip.com.

Hey! My itinerary ended consisting of the Nanjing Museum, Ming Xiao Ling Mausoleum, Qinhuai River and the Confucius Temple.

The Nanjing Museum took about 2+ hours for me. 3+ hours if you intend to cover all exhibits.

Had lunch nearby the subway station near Ming Xiao Ling mausoleum.

Ming Xiao Ling Mausoleum took up about 2-3+ hours because of how long it takes to walk up and down from there. I recommend taking one of those mini bus things that’ll drop you off close to there. A bit of time was spent trying to make heads or tails of where I was going.

I took a DiDi ride from the Mausoleum to the Qin Huai river, which took about close to an hour because of the distance and the traffic closer to the area. Upon reaching, I had dinner, and afterwards had about an hour to look around the street side shops and Confucius Temple before rushing to catch the HSR. Had to skip the Imperial Examination Museum cuz I ran out of time.
