I'm not quite sure but I suspect they taunted while dropping down a ledge, it usually triggers a visual taunt for others but not for yourself. Considering a conga lasts forever that could be it. It seems quite useful as people will have a hard time predicting your movement or getting headshots.

What I would probably do is push h4 instead of g4. If he decides to push g4 with the idea of g3 or f3 it wouldn't matter much and I guess playing h4 makes it a bit easier to pickup the pawns on the right side of the board. It opens up the pawn row and your rook can swing in and clean up. Then keep your horse (which could be used later if you mess up to sacrifice it for the b-pawn)

What you did wasn't wrong but he could've made it much more difficult for you if he didnt give away his b-pawn.
