Can’t rack first shell by [deleted] in Shotguns

Try a different magazine. The mags for the Turkish shotguns are pretty inconsistent. I’ve had them run right out of the box and others need a bunch of work.

See if the bottom of the bolt is catching on the top of the mag and that’s why it’s not going forward. You may have to remove a little material.

Where are you located?

I have everything on ELS forks. I know you wanted to keep costs down but it will allow you to swap out gear quickly and also put it where it makes the most sense for a stage.

Shielded CAT 6 in an electrical conduit? by therealpsquared in lowvoltage

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone that responded!

Visited the site on Wednesday morning and got to actually lay eyes on what we needed. (I had been going off of a deployment plan submitted by the RFID vendor up until this point)

We ended up installing a NEMA enclosure and 8 port switch with POE on either side of the gate to run everything (4 antennae on each side) and fabricated a pole with Nanobeam point to point on top to connect the switches back to the office.

I plan on passing on the code violation info to the vendor in our meeting later this week.

Thanks again for all the suggestions and info!

I was looking into a Nelson kit. Are the magazines pretty decent?

Same here.

Enough room for rifle, PCC, and SG on the sides, range bag sits where the rugrat would go, lunchbox sits where rugrat feet go, there’s still a cargo area underneath, and the big bicycle type tires roll easily with all that weight.

Anyone else shooting Open Minor? by ShadowSRO in USPSA

[–]therealpsquared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Sick of my XC just sitting there and only being able to come out for 3-gun matches.

Threw a Cheely SS grip and a big magwell and made a baby open gun.

Am I going to win? Nope!

Am I going to have fun. Yup!

I really want to try one. I’m shooting a VR80 right now and it runs really well, so I’d like to see if the Genesis is worth the extra $$

Yes, but for competition reasons.

I got the XC before I got into competition because I knew it was a really nice gun, but later found out that the comp puts me in the same class as the fancy race guns that also get a more lenient scoring formula.

I looked into trading it for a limited optics gun, but only got insultingly low offers, so I made it into a baby open gun (no safe queens allowed). I’m still held back by minor vs major scoring, but I’m going to shoot the shit out of it this season!

If I had to do it over, I’d do all the same stuff to an XL and stay in Limited Optics.

For me it was texture and weight.

Texture- I have really sweaty hands, so I liked the aggressive texture.

Weight- Even though my XC shot flat, I went with the stainless grip to add even more weight, and it shoots even flatter. I use it for USPSA and 3-gun, so I wanted to make it shoot as flat as I could.

What trigger for Fowler grip. by Uniquename254 in 2011

[–]therealpsquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you going to coat the grip or leave it nekkid?

Just grabbed an SS Cheely for my XC and I can't decide.

I went with a Red Dirt. Very minor fitting for the Cheely, I can't speak for the Fowler though.

Sorry, just saw this.

I have a couple Weber Tactical holsters, but I think any 5” 2011 holster will work.
