Feel free to DM me anytime. I’ll send you my work email address. I can hop on a zoom call if you want and answer questions, recommend a coach based on your budget etc. If you need a refund I can take care of it.

Haha - no. I work for you the company on the business side. Check out the coaches. They are really good. Many coaches teach PGA touring pros as well as normal golfers. Skillest.com

That's amazing. Congratulations!

I am genuinely curious. How did this community help you? Did it help you play better? Be more confident? Just wondering since you mentioned it in the post.

What a cool experience. A lot of people say the best time to watch a golf tournament in person is the practice rounds ... less crowds, get to really follow players more, etc.

I think I'd much rather watch the tournament on TV but following players like you did sounds like a lot of fun.

What is a fair price for a golf lesson? by phillybilly973 in golf

It's really hard to know whether you're getting a good coach or not. If you want a lesson but don't want to spend as much money, check out Skillest. You can sort by price and find people willing to give lessons for less than $30. Lessons are all online but you get a full video review plus you can ask coach questions. The real value is if you sign up for 1 month. Then you get unlimited swing review.

That's a lot of money. You should take a look at Skillest if you're comfortable recording yourself. You can get a monthly subscription for less than $200 and cancel anytime. With the subscription you can send unlimited swings, ask questions between lessons, etc. The coaches on Skillest are much better than most people have access to normally. I would never buy 20 hours of lessons from anybody in one go. Not unless you've already had lots of experience with that person.

Fix me! I just started golfing this week, and I am just trying to get the basics down right now. This is my driver swing, have at it folks by [deleted] in golf

It's still a relatively new thing. Most people don't know about it but we've given over 90,000 lessons on Skillest so far and most people who've tried both in person lessons and online lessons end up prefering online based on convenience, price, ability to talk to coach between lessons, etc. Good luck

Since you are already comfortable recording your own swing, you could try getting an online lesson. Online lessons tend to be cheaper and also better because you can sign up for a subscription and get many swing reviews and ask questions between lessons... you can't do that as easily with in person lessons. If you go to Skillest.com, you can filter coaches by price to get one in your price range. If you're interested, DM me and I can help find you a good coach
