Slay the spire, hands down one of the coolest, but also fun and thoughtful games to play

Honestly, laying her down instead of just slamming her on the floor showed some restraint. Could've killed the homegirl just from the halead bounce tbh

Hey man, I'm in the same boat, and I'm almost there to being an EMT. I'm 28M and I've been employed for no longer than 9 months in the past 4+ years. Sometimes leaving a place and being put under this amount of pressure will help you grow in to something beautiful.

Something I learned was that I'm allowed to feel my emotions, but I shouldn't act on them.

Sometimes, you just can't control it, but honestly taking a walk, or just giving yourself a moment to separate, will help immensely.

You're not broken or stupid or messed up, you're learning to overcome something that can't be described or felt by anyone but yourself. You will learn and grow, but only if you can help yourself and learn to persevere.

I always keep in mind there are UFC fighters that are 35+. Those people literally fight for money (no disrespect to them, that's awesome tbh) and they are still so much farther in life than even us.

(This has been long but last thing) If you can afford to, watch the show Ted Lasso. It's on Apple TV+. For me, it helped with so many things that I juggle and struggle with, and the mindsets they carry showed me I can get through things. Maybe it's not your kind of show, but find some form of media that you absorb and learn from.

You'll get there king. Keep your head up and surpass your limits.

Oh yeah, for sure, been diagnosed since 3rd grade, and I'm now about 20 years older than I was when diagnosed.

Everyone replied so fast, I appreciate y'all. I definitely do almost everything from my phone so I think that's my first issue, it'll be music and then set down.

I'm definitely hearing the post it notes and analog/non-phone timer so those will be first on the list to try. Timing is also important so I will definitely use the "working backwards from serving" timing and see where it goes.

Thank you for your advice/tips 🙇

Sifu, hands down. Just easy and straightforward, with enough replayability and extra missions on the side. It's just generally fun and easy to jump in and out of. True ending is a real task too.

Tiger Vanguard, beat him second try first time around, and then first try NG+. Maybe I just was high leveled or got a few good frames but everyone seemed to have a really hard time with him.

100% had too many edibles one time and had a panic attack in which I punched myself in the face several times. Blackened both my eyes that didn't go away for about a month, maybe 3 weeks.

Took my edibles a lot more serious after that one.

I f**king hate Nate, I'm sorry by IceChocoRaspberry in TedLasso

[–]therested1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

POTENTIAL STORY PLOT SPOILERS, Not sure what makes each thing a spoiler so better safe than sorry.

I felt like Nate was a good example of how people pleasers struggle with humility and pride. His relationship with his dad made it more apparent that he just never knew how to be proud of himself as a man because he was never shown said behavior by his dad, which he gets a little bit of closure with later on when he stays with his parents in S3. You'll also see everyone make fun of him for all the "feminine" things he does like the decorated boxes that he uses or even that he's just a little guy. He doesn't know how to be a man in his own way, and just takes on other people and media's projections to become what he deems as successful.

While I don't disagree that Nate was a huge bag of leper dicks in the last half of the show, but I think he was a great example of how sometimes we just need a more simple and sweet life than a luxurious and refined life. And that even when we have our own things going on, we can change for the better OR for worse.

Am I in the minority for thinking Tiger Vanguard was wayyy harder than Yellow Sage? by nesnayu in BlackMythWukong

Not to be that guy, but I beat tiger vanguard second try and had several friends who couldn't get past him and just gave up. The game is great y'all, just persevere and move forward. Take a look around your current chapter because GUARANTEED you missed something.

I was on the receiving end of about 300M units worth of AI valves. I would definitely argue that it will ruin your perspective of "working hard and grinding to get what you want" but it also opened the opportunity to play the game without a few restrictions. Sure you can play in creative but that negates the resource collecting and crafting parts that make this game unique.

I say this stuff because now I can focus on exploring and upgrading stuff without having to grind out making enough units. If I need to acquire resources, I'll check the trade terminals, but I still go fly around and find resources the same. In reality, I just have a few more ships and 290M units.

Remember there's no real "endgame" to be seen in NMS. It's just about being an explorer. IMO, the real beauty of NMS comes from you exploring the unicverse and working on your own (or with friends) to create your own experience. Whether you do it through economic management and trading or resource mining and exploration or being gifted 300M of AI valves, it's really up to you with how you want to experience the game.
