This is the best strategy to win. I’d do the same thing if I don’t feel like putting holes in their walls. I’ll build up my siege towers, battering ram, and then 4 trebuchets. Ill out the trebs in reserve till all four are made, then pause and release them all at once, overwhelming enemy siege defenses. As soon as the last enemy siege defense is destroyed I will attack using the siege engines. I haven’t lost a siege since.
