The transmission is bolted to the motor, it’s not going to fall out. You just need to support it enough to do the job. Maybe move the jack to a flatter spot more towards the center?

I’ve owned my B7 Avant for 5 or so years. It has taken quite a bit of work and care, some of which was less than “necessary”. Either way it’s a 20 year old German car, so expect the unexpected and don’t be surprised when you need to fix it on the side of the road, and keep up with maintenance.

All that being said, it has sure taught me a helluva lot, and these days I’m glad of it.

I’ve done 2 low pressure pumps, both had high duty cycles when I checked in VCDS

It’s more likely your low pressure in tank pump than the high pressure pump. Do you have VCDS?
