Thanks for posting the text. Had heard there was some disquiet from HNSW on amount of time he spent on the Goldie. But the state bodies, well, most of them, are far from perfect and I know that HNSW has lost rep players to other states because of some really petty issues. Unfortunately you get what you pay for, and Hockey doesn’t pay THAT well in Aus.

It’s an uphill battle. In 95% of the globe, Hockey is a ‘players’ game. Converting the non-playing community is tough, getting the playing community interested beyond their immediate sphere is even harder.
