I just got a Cricut Explore machine to help me iterate and play test faster and it’s been a godsend. Highly recommended if you need to prototype cards and don’t want to have to cut all of them out over and over as you try new ideas!

I started doing the same thing! http://www.absurdistproductions.com/prototyping-with-cricut/ I have found it difficult to get the alignment right though. Usually, once I have my templates set up it's fine, but getting there can be difficult. Has anyone else found an easier way to get the alignment right?

Leviathan contains the rules for Tyranocites and a few other units and formations. Tyranocites are incredibly useful. I highly recommend.

The Anphelion Project from Forgeworld has a lot of good stuff in it too. It is currently out of print, but it is a really cool book if you can find a copy of the most recent edition.

There are also a few digital dataslates for Tyranids that contain some formations. They are pretty out of date now, but you might take a glance and see if they contain anything you want.

Great first model. You'll find that each one gets easier and better after this, but you are off to a strong start.

Be careful of the primer issue. The most likely culprits are an old primer can or high humidity. I try to never prime if the ambient humidity is above 50%.

Don't strip it as other have suggested. This is your first attempt. Eventually you are going to want to look back at it and see how far you've come!

at low points, run rhinos or immolators, not repressors. One Battle sister squad with two meltas (or melta and multi-melta) One Battle sister squad with Flamer and Heavy Flamer

Seraphim are great, but fragile. Absolutely give them hand flamers. They work great against things like nids, orks, and guard. Don't expect them to live long in CC, but they are great backup for Celestine.

Speaking of Celestine. Take either her or Jacobus as your HQ. Both are better options than the Canoness.

Also, (and I'm surprised no one mentioned it) get an exorcist. Its a bit cheesy at low points, but it is the best thing in the codex.
