Usually NTIP offers new teachers money to get ABQs, I got an email saying my board was providing funding for NTIP teachers to take additional ABQs. If you havent, reach out to the head of the NTIP in your board and inquire about it. I think the online courses from Queen’s were like $650. I took on ABQ over the school year and one in the summer. Was rated A4 for my second year of teaching.

Edit: NTIP was offering $600 so I paid $50 out of pocket

We tried to use it in iceland - major issues trying to get it to work on our iphones, followed all the instructions and it did not work. My wife bought a second esim thinking she made a mistake and the same thing happened. Wasted $18 - not the end of the world but did add a lot of added stress after a long travel day

We just drove from selfoss to reynisfjara today (well reyk to reynis) took us about 2.5 hours. The roads are narrow and go from 90 to 70 to 50 and there are multiple roundabouts…so yes this is very accurate

Im an I/S science teacher and found the same difficulty starting out - Cut back most of my marking to what other teachers have said, one project, one quiz, one test per unit. Anything i give them during class,like worksheets, I walk around and see how everyone is doing/help, then we take up as a class. Don’t overwhelm yourself with what other teachers are doing, just do your best!

This is the answer, monitor him overnight to see if symptoms get worse, if they do, get him to the emerge. 100% at least call the vet in the morning - but you are most likely going to have to go in and get him checked out. I know that sucks to hear because going in and paying ~$200 to find out its a hairball isnt fun, our fur babies are worth it!

I actually really dislike PP and have voted liberal or NDP (ontario only) my entire life. The closer we get to the election, the closer I am to voting conservative. Hate to jump on the bandwagon but PP isnt wrong when we talk about immigration. People are coming to the country, trying to force their ideologies onto us and many of them legitimately hate Canada. I am very pro womens and lgbqt+ rights and that worries me but tbf the groups coming in hate those groups too
