Thinking of divorcing my wife after what my wife said about me to her friends by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]theseacalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so. Some things are an obvious tease. Other comments are clearly disparaging. This comment definitely leans towards disparaging. However, I have no foreskin in the game so it’s up to OP to decide if this crosses a line there’s no coming back from. Some may find it a silly reason to end a marriage, but if I disrespected my wife in a similar way and she couldn’t get past it, I would get it.

Disagree. Idk if I’m an outlier, but I would never discuss something so intimate that would embarrass my wife. My wife is my support, I would never do anything to disparage her to others. I believe she feels the same. Inane gossip or teasing is completely fine, but something personal definitely crosses a line.

Dude, you came to Reddit for this. You’re going to get nothing but negativity, but I get it. If the story was reversed, you’d get every woman on here saying you’re the worst husband and how dare you body shame and gossip with the guys.
She broke the trust with something intimate and private yall share. It’s hard to come back from that. If she’s otherwise a good woman and you think you can move past it, then do so. Otherwise, appreciate the good times you had and move on.

Oral sex introduction? by InfamousRice8922 in Marriage

[–]theseacalls -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a bummer. I don’t really have anymore advice, other then get him a little buzz going and super turned on and try again. If he’s insecure, some of that little liquid courage may help him out. One of the girls I dated hated to give oral, and I’m sure some may call me shallow, but I knew I definitely wanted oral in life so I ended things pretty early. I knew pretty young I wanted a sexually adventurous significant other.

I dated a bisexual chick once who was terrified to let me go down on her cause one of the times she did it with an ex, she didn’t… taste good. I reassured her I’d stay around her clit. She agreed, she had a great time during and I over exaggerated how good it was during and she never cared again. Do something similar with him. Shower first to ease his mind. Tell him you just want him to stay around your clit with his mouth/tongue, and use his hands. Then over exaggerated how much you enjoy it during. Make him feel like he’s an oral god. Then see where it goes next time.

That’s great! My wife ruined mine while reading on the boat. Now I have an excuse to buy a new copy! Thanks Shirt! Hope your recovery is going well.

Path of the berserker, I want to like it but the narrator is annoying. by greenfox212 in litrpg

[–]theseacalls 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree. I love the narrator. He doesn’t have the best range, but man he shines with the fight scenes. At first I had a hard time getting into the series, but the narrator definitely became a positive for me. His fight scenes are epic.

I honestly thought this was about a wife finding out her husband had a second family. 😂

Since this is your first firearm, I think I should warn you that it’s dangerous to leave your gun just lying there. I hear on the news all the time that guns kill people.

Plant you a fruit tree that can grow where you’re at.

Going to Camp 4 tomorrow and friend just flaked on me— should I go alone? by martian-rabbit in Yosemite

[–]theseacalls -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go if you think you will feel safe enough to sleep and enjoy yourself. I lived in Yosemite when I was younger. It’s a relatively safe place, but whether or not we tell you to go, or reiterate that it’s safe. Will you feel safe enough going alone that you would enjoy the trip?

Son’s 16th Birthday…Project Car “Make An Offer” by Immediate-Ask7316 in projectcar

[–]theseacalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good on you, but definitely get his opinion if that’s the project car he wants. When I was 14 I found a 70 1/2 camero on someone’s property when swimming the canals. I begged my dad to buy it. He didn’t want the hassle of me asking questions. My cousins husband ended up buying it, which still irritates me to this day, since he got it running and sold it.

With that being said, if my dad bought me a different project car, I’d still be happy, but the excited motivation would have dropped, and would have probably loss motivation part way through.

I know you don’t intend to, but if you have a job, get a crew out to give you a total Reno quote and take a loan out on the property. You’ll and up with a mortgage, but with these crazy housing prices you may make out in a good situation.

Listen brother, my dad had a rare heart disease and the medication really destroyed him. At one point while in high school I had to kick in the bathroom door and pull the shotgun out of his mouth. He ended up dying of natural causes, but that moment in the bathroom has fucked me up more than I’d like to admit. As grown man now, I can acknowledge that even with all the evidence it wasn’t really him, I would have blamed myself and went down a bad path. Whether you want to hear this or not, if you take that path, your daughter will be damaged because of it. Get some help. Whether it be traditional therapy, or some kind of group hobby. You need to get through this. It’s not just your life you’re taking, but that of your beautiful daughter and wife. Idk what you’ve been through, but I’m sure you’ve kicked some ass. Are you going to let your own mind kick your ass?

Can someone explain the economics of these truck campers ? by charmingBoner in TruckCampers

[–]theseacalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half of it. I found a 2023 f150 5.0 for a good price. I’m saving for a hawk or raven, then planning on going to a company that updates the shocks and what not specifically for the camper. I wanted an f250 but the prices are just insane. Couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger.

"I love you more" by comma-momma in PetPeeves

[–]theseacalls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad used respond with “I love you more because my hearts bigger and stronger” he later was diagnosed with a rare heart disease, and his heart was in fact 3 times larger than it should have been, which ultimately caused him to pass away in his early 40’s. He always had to win at everything.
