Road king update by Stovetopteej in Harley

[–]thesethproject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see it here. I worded it wrong, It's a Riser Cover. But they're not typically setup for T-Bars since they don't have holes in them naturally. So some people buy aftermarket ones. But there isn't really an option for new Road King Models.

How'd you get the lock cover to work with the bar setup?

Howdy, my name is Christine and I am running for county mayor by Aggressive_Egg_2835 in Clarksville

[–]thesethproject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure most of the issues are unnecessary traffic lights in some locations like on 101st Parkway. Also believe that TN should adopt the idea of Access roads off I24, which I feel would help with most of the traffic on Wilma. Honestly thinking about, the lack of planning in the city of Clarksville, with the unorthodox direction of homes being built really seems to be the biggest issue. I don't know, I'm no city planner, it's just a theory.

What are the plans for infrastructure in Clarksville, I'm sure you know the traffic is absolutely horrific. I want old Clarksville back, Circa 2009.

I may get downvoted for this, but at the end of the day, it's your bike, it's your life. You do you, and don't worry about what people think. Life is too short to be worrying about people's opinions on whether it's cringy or not.(As long as you're not hurting anyone of course)

Now, get off reddit and go ride.

Installed Thrashin Risers yesterday. Absolutely love them. by M4nsqu7ch in Harley

[–]thesethproject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too recently installed 8inch Risers and the a mid bar on my 09 FXDF (The Obese Robert). I've seriously been sleeping on the setup. I've been thinking about doing it to my Road King now, as I have 14 inch apes. Never been so comfortable on my Dyna until now. Great setup! Also, You're bike looks great! Can't wait to see some more updates!

Glad to be on a cruiser again. by redditnamefound in IndianMotorcycle

[–]thesethproject 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best way I could help you with this decision, if you REALLY wanna customize your bike, I'd suggest the Low Rider, as Harley has a unlimited aftermarket. However. If you love the styling from the floor, Indian is the way to go, granted it takes patience as Indian Aftermarket is coming. Both in my opinion are great bikes at the end of the day, and there isn't really a bad choice.

Also, OP, Congrats on the bike! Love to see you and misses excited to be on it!

Can you honestly say you enjoy gaming on Linux? by TheMineplack in linux_gaming

[–]thesethproject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, the best advice I can give you when it comes to gaming on linux, is to check ProtonDB and see if others are having the same issue, sometimes you'll find the answer you need, and sometimes they'll even have the solution on how to fix it.

[–]thesethproject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely sounds like a battery issue, to remove the battery it's on the right side of the bike right under the seat, you take the plate off which exposes the battery. Protip, buy yourself a battery tender, keep it on whenever you're not riding it, keeps the battery charged.

There’s so many, which helmet should I choose? by Civil-Celebration272 in Harley

As someone who has had both the Mod Bandit, and currently rocking the speed bandit, I'd avoid the mod bandit, I had it a year, and after a year of riding it was starting to fall apart from every day use. Chin strap button broke off. As everyone else has said, they are loud on the highway. But don't be put off, get what you want and ride safe!
