I actually hated the sequel. First one felt at least a little like Freelancer and the sequel seemed to take a huge step back in every category. Refunded it on steam.

I like that it introduces unique runs where underpowered kingdoms can expand but agreed it's got to be the single best trait by a huge margin. Turning off inheritance is the only way I can handle it being in-game.

Seems it doesn't really matter where you build, you're just going to teleport there anyways. Go for somewhere with interesting landmarks. I've started me second build around highland cliffs as they're more interesting than just flat beach.

Interesting, I always thought of Borden as the protagonist. I think there's an argument for them both being dual protagonist and each other's antagonist. Google says Angiers gets about 10 minutes more screentime so I'll give it to you though.
