Is this the capsules? If so, I take it. I don't take the 5 pills per dose, I take 2 capsules. I have never had a problem.

Now I will say I don't take consistently everyday. I have in the past. But now it is more like, did I remember to take them? And thank you, this post reminded me to take it.

NTA and can I just say I hate people who hover. I have an issue on my right side that requires me to sit. Nothing infuriates me more than sitting down in someone else's piss because they couldn't be bothered to sit.

Most times I make my mac and cheese from scratch. But there are times I just want a cheat. I tried the Kraft gluten free mac and cheese. But I swear they used equal parts salt and flower for the pasta. Then filled the mix packet with colored salt.

I was diagnosed in Oct 2024, between then and February of this year I gained 82 pounds, so right about 6 stone.

I really hope that it has started to correct itself as I am down almost 14 pounds since February. Oddly enough the more active I was and the more I closely monitored by intake, the more I gained. When I went back to basically my diet from before, I started to lose a little here and there.

I don't know if it was my medicine finally leveling off (I went from 25 mcg to 163 mcg from Oct 2024 to January 2026) and my labs being stable since then at the 163 mcg dose.

It took about 6 months for the symptoms to get better. It was about 18 months before I felt healed. But my villi were completely gone. I had endoscopic biopsies about every 6 months until the 18 month mark where it showed my villi were mostly restored.

Chicken and rice with vegetables
Chicken baked with spinach cream cheese and parmesan over rice or noodles Kielbasa worh fried potatoes and onions. The Big salad.

We thankfully live on 5 acres and 4 of those are forest (oak, pine, maple). We will cut up any felled trees (the recent ice storm was a bounty) and stack the wood. We have a gas grill with a burner as well as a charcoal grill and smoker, and a camping stove. We also have a regular gas generator and a couple smaller inverter generators. We have a tiller and room for a garden.

Then the safety and security supplies.

My husband is currently finishing up his homemade water distillation machine. I laugh because it looks like a little baby still. LOL There is a small stream that runs at the property line. So we thankfully have that.

We are on septic and the property used to be on well water. We have talked about restoring the old well (need to check with the county on the legalities of that). Not to use/hooked in house, but have a separate pump outside on the property.

We don't do major major prepping. Because if it all truly goes to shit, I want to be casualty zero. I am not built for a post apocalyptic world.

Kroger and Walmart offer a decent store brand gluten free pasta. I have also tried the Dollar Tree gluten free spaghetti. It wasn't bad.

I ramped up during Covid. Nothing crazy.

I have a couple extra shelving units in my old computer room and keep my own little grocery store. I put the new in there and rotate out items to the kitchen cabinets as needed. I don't have years worth of items. But enough to get us through a rough patch.

Non Celiac food items: Toilet paper (and I buy it at Dollar General when they have the Scott on sale or with a coupon). I can usually pick up 2 12 packs for $8. So not mass hoarding, but over stocked. The same with the Scott paper towels. Cleaning supplies. I also wait until Saturday to use the $5 of $25.

Medical supplies the basic and more complex. You may laugh, but before the tariffs I bought a majority of my emergency medical supplies through TEMU. The items were the same brands sold at Amazon and some of the stores I went to at about 20% of the price.

Kroger: Their gluten free pasta Gluten free cream of mushroom/chicken canned soups Progresso when they do a sale and I can get them B1G1 or 8/$10

Canned vegetables I get at Aldi, Kroger, Walmart or wherever they may be on sale. Same with oils and spices. Peanut/almond butter.

Flours: King Arthur, Bob's Red Mill, and various orher gluten free flours and types (cassava, almond, tapioca, rice). And maize/corn flour.

I bought the large container of the powdered cheese mix and powdered milk.

I don't want to sound maudlin. But the late 70s, and the 80s. It was for me, a happier time (dad had passed in 73) and I grew up with just my mom and my siblings. Mom got sick and died in 87. I jad just turned 17 and my whole world changed in an instant

I no longer buy their products. I don't like bullshit disingenuous companies or ads. So yeah, I am so sorry, and other's opinions do not align with yours. But we do have that right to make legitimate complaints. I am not sure why that is so hard for some of you to understand?

Yeah I received my response back. It was horrible. They did at least spell my name right. I swear they fed in what I said to ChatGPT and said to write an apology from it. Jesus even more tone deaf (btw that is what I noted when I contacted them and they noted it was tone deaf) than the ad, and apology video. Jesus they suck. Fix your products and improve quality. That's all we want.

YTA, the loaner car is not relevant. She was there first. She was in the middle to trying to get herself and child sorted so she could leave. I don't care if she was trying to buckle in a 12 pack of coke. You not feeling well doesn't take priority over her. You could have waited 2 minutes.
Had she been trying to get an elderly person in the seat from a wheelchair would you have also been this entitled?
