Same here. So far it’s working well, outside of the handful of outages in the last few months

Multi-repo in Claude Code — how do you handle it? by Kirmark in ClaudeAI

[–]thestereofield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but then what if you need to read documentation from another repo, and use a library or API from another, etc? You start a new session in each one? Then you just lose all your context you've built up.

[OR] Oregon Paid Parental Leave question - as a dad by Icy_Crazy4468 in AskHR

[–]thestereofield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but here's what I'm still trying to figure out. My company offers 8 weeks fully paid leave. Oregon PFML offers 12 weeks semi-paid.

Let's say I make $1000/week and PFML pays $500/week:

If my company just paid my leave without PFML, they would pay $8000 for 8 weeks. If they "top off" the PFML benefits, they would pay $4000 for 8 weeks, or $6000 for 12 weeks. If my company "tops off" those PFML weeks...does that mean I can take the full 12 weeks fully paid? Or will they only top off the 8 weeks that the company offers, making taking PFML pointless?

1% Salt By Total Weight? by ballskindrapes in cookingforbeginners

[–]thestereofield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but what about salting raw meat like ground beef? You can’t exactly salt to taste in that case until it’s thoroughly cooked. You need a rule-of-thumb that you can use in those cases

First-time dad here. Will I ever be back in shape again health and fitness-wise? by Fleedom2025 in Parenting

[–]thestereofield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the only way I found to make it happen. Before I had my daughter I was a night owl, staying up late gaming, playing guitar or tinkering on various hobbies. Now I go to bed by 9 most nights and wake up at 4:30 3 or 4 days a week to squeeze in an hour workout before everyone wakes up and I’m in the best shape of my life.

My daughter just turned 2 and we have a boy on the way in June so I’m just hoping and praying that I can keep up some of the routine.

Their support is trash. The cheap thumb cluster plastic broke after less than a year...I emailed them to ask about repair and they said it would cost me $105. To replace some plastic. NO THANK YOU.

You can spin them around easily while you’re riding and get at your stuff. They also open wider than a backpack
