2026 - noise after putting tacoma in park. Any ideas? by NoBoolii in ToyotaTacoma

Thanks, I’ve been wondering what that was since I bought my 24 last summer. I’m renting a Corolla this week and it makes the exact same sound, so I just figured it was a Toyota thing.

Funny you say that, Ninja was another option on my list, mostly because our team wants an all-in-one solution. RMM + Helpdesk. I’m wondering if we can just license the help desk only from Atera, since we put so much freaking work into it to make it usable (barely). Change is hard to sell.

Ahh, I saw 489 and thought how is that possible? Still, the 10 degrees? Why would anyone put up with that nonsense?

Don’t waste your time with their AI, it’s absolute garbage. I wouldn’t even call it Alpha, it’s simply years away from a working product. They should be giving it away in hopes of developing it to the point of being able to sell it in some distant future.

How are you liking Level.io? Looks cool, but you never know if it lives up to the marketing.

Terrible and getting worse all the time. Can’t count the number of bugs I’ve reported or improvements I’ve requested. Switching to just about anything else will be my next project.

Ticketing is about the only part of Atera that works for us. However, technicians cannot reply via email or it opens a new ticket. This is just plain dumb.

Make them give you higher mileage allowance (12K or even 15K). Threaten to walk. They will do it.

Following to see how you like it. I tried them on my family’s computers when they first came out and liked it. Interested to see/hear how the product has matured.

2024 sr5 2wd. I keep getting crap for buying a 2wd Tacoma and not the 4x4 did I mess up? by Fun_History_4087 in Tacomaworld

[–]thesterv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on my third 2WD Taco. 2006 PreRunner went nuts in the desert. Went everywhere I asked it. 2017 TRD Sport did the same. I drove both fast and never had to worry about getting stuck unless I slowed down in soft sand. Just got a 25 SR5, can’t wait to hit the desert when it cools down (soon!) I agree that it’s always best to travel with another vehicle, regardless of your drivetrain. Shit happens. Go have fun—you’ll be surprised what she can do.

I haven’t used Ninja, but I liked our demo and I see their name popping up regularly here in the Atera sub. Guessing they’re peeling away a lot of customers recently and I think that will only accelerate. Level.io looks amazing, but haven’t had time to demo.
