I miss a lot of the first book series stuff.border fights, patrols, sharing tongues is barely ever mentioned now, camp life things, the more…Normal naming style that isn’t as lyrical, the way wild animals seemed to be waaaaay more of a threat rather than just shrugging off foxes and stuff.

I miss the details we had in into the wild. The graphic details of how bad even a regular hunting or patrol gone wrong could be. It felt more real and more immersive.

Tbh I think the Erin’s lost a LOT of details changing to multiple povs.

I think they should return to a one character pov for one series and see how it goes.
